With a minimum price tag of $2 billion each, new-generation nuclear power plants are 50% more expensive than putting coal-fired power plants online, and they are far more expensive than new gas-fired power plants...... 60 years into the nuclear era, our scientists still don't know how to safely transport, dispose of or store nuclear waste.

30 Miles from where I live they built a nuclear power plant in the 1980's & after several years of lawsuits by liberal "green" groups, the company said "fuck it" & renovated it into a coal plant. IT WAS ALREADY BUILT! Now the same libtard groups wants to tax the shit out of that plant for its CO emissions! Even if they cost more to build, they will pay for themselves over the long run.
Maybe we can ask France how they do it b/c 71% of their power comes from nuclear plants??
