ALWAYS....ALWAYS....use gloves from start to finish...no touching the machine no touching the needle without it...only if your are tuning your machine or rebuilding is this ok....Always try to be sterile...even if your using a crappy MACHINE and dont know what your doing...and the work is crap....my opinion buy expensive equiment because it resells for almost the same price sometimes more and it works right.....and there are tattoo machines with motors dont let LBtattooartistwin....urs has coils

Actually you should fit the needle to the gun before you fit the tip to save you time having to adjust the tip. Your needle was hanging WAY to far out the front of the gun.
