Yes....kinda odd that this song wasn't released on the album of the same name in 1982. I guess John had his reasons.

It is a very good song but it spawned another good song - "Crumblin' Down".

@jldraw yes it evolved into crumblin´down but this was very interesting to hear. although I love john´s late 80´s early 90´s albums I have an extra liking to american fool. like a great mix of springsteen and bryan adams!
