  • Bullshit! The first "white" in India was a Russian guy named Nikitin

  • @csillagszr From the city of Tver to India?

The first Russian traveler to visit India was the Tver merchant Afanasy Nikitin – according to some sources, he was born in 1433. It is unknown exactly when the Tver merchant began his famous journey. Some historians believe that it started in 1466, others - in 1468 WHAT DO YOU SAY?

  • @edgarmendex GAMA claims he was there in 1460...so is it the Russian loss?

  • First the music is non-sense (no relation). U talk about america and india, and mix some black african slaves pictures, plus a (recent) burning man image out of nowhere (where is that from??) and how does vasco da gama relates to slavery or any of this relates to africa?? traduzindo : n tem coerencia nem sentido nenhum es um frito.

  • @esmifrado Da Gama was a damn Devil Eurofrito...

  • vasco da gama was a good honorable man all this slave and burning people talk is bullshit, well maybe not about the slaves, but fuck theyre only slaves and at the time they were savages but da gama and the others made all their lives better they taught them to be smart and civilized, and ABOVE all else!!! saved the slaves souls by making them catholics in the 1 true faith cristianity..the slaves of brazil today,i mean the decendants are living the dream now, some even have white partners

  • @130713074eva "some are living the dream some even have white partners" lool well...i dont believe vasco da gama or anybody wants u as a lawyer u doing more damage than good what a bunch of trash everylittle thing u said :\

  • @130713074eva Listen carefully. If YOU are ignorant about a particular historical event, that does not mean that it did not happen.Check your facts before blabbering.Go and read wikipedia. The whole thing. It gives the details of his cruelties. How the 'civilized' catholic cut the hands and ears of people and how he burned women and children alive!!

  • @130713074eva You want to teach about how Catholicism made the lives of people?Forgot the Spanish Inquisition?the burning of women alive accusing them of being witches?Saved their souls? You Catholics have a special way of saving souls by roasting people alive. Some civilization! In 1948 Gama reached a country whose civilization was existent for 3500 years already ie when Gama's forefathers were still savages, these people had trade with Mesopotamia and Sumeria.Get ur facts straight and then talk!

  • esta musica de caca tem tudo haver com historia de portugal... mau gosto

  • @ukusapillage Nao tenho o fado Portugues lol...

  • Da Gama the worst....

  • glorified pirate...thats who Da Gama is.

  • @tigerpoosha Well if Vasco da Gama was a glorified pirate all the explorers were, second a pirate assaults ships to plunger which he never did, third pirates were the british.

  • Vasco da gama was not so great........His atrocities in India, made him the Villain,in the historical books of India. He was a crank wanderer with cruelty under a sheeps skin.No man can deny this ,if he who knows about history of India, especially kerala.Malicious Gama stiched ear of a dog to a messenger of the king of kerala, called Zamorins ,and allowed to return to the king. Also he burned 500 people along with their childrens alive in a ship, who returned from Mecca. These are truth. Not 4 argument.

  • @Sampookkayil

That was Cabral if i am not wrong.

  • why pictures about slavery in a video about vasco da gama?

  • Comment removed

  • he was a robberer. and steal many things from the different part of the world.

  • @arjunhiral you meant to say thief you incult idiot.

  • which greek knew the world was round? pathagorus?

  • he is not an explorer Jesuits have been coming to India since 1300's and knew these routes very well

when the Portuguese reached Indian shores they started firing at all the fishing boats and started their inquisition even before they set their foot in India

all these stories about vasco da gama and Columbus discovering new lands are just stories

Christianity was the driving force behind all these and atrocities did by them to destroy natives and spread Christianity cannot be expressed by words

  • @hrm993

Christianity was there in the place where he landed-Malabar centuries before the arrival of Vasco De Gama. What they did was break up the 15 centuries old Christendom that was present in the Malabr&tried replacing it with their Latin form of workship. As a Result we syrian Christians assembled near a cross&took the famous Coonan Cross Oath.

  • @nasranithomman THEY CALL IT REMINISCENCE MEANING-1580s, "act of remembering," from L.L. reminiscentia "remembrance, recollection," from reminiscentem (nom. reminiscens ), prp. of reminisci "remember, recall to mind," from re- "again" + minisci "to remember," FROM ROOT OF MENS "MIND ," from PIE base *men-/*mon- "think" (see mind (n.)). Meaning "a RECOLLECTION OF SOMETHING PAST " is attested from 1811.

  • whats the language?

  • Portuguese...

  • muslims knew the world was round back in 640 A.D.

  • @Rico8458

The Greeks knew it in 300 B.C.

  • @torchkit BULLSHIT. THE GREEKS GOT MOST OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE EGYPTIANS THAT HAPPENED TO BE FAR MORE ADVANCE THAN THE GREEKS OR ANY EUROPEANS AT THAT TIME. PYTHAGORAS AND SOCRATES WENT TO EGYPT EXCLUSIVELY TO LEARN MATHEMATICS AND OTHER SCIENCES.. BUT THAT'S BEYOND THE POINT, AT THAT TIME NO ONE KNEW THE WORLD WAS ROUND. IT WAS THROUGH A PORTUGUESE NAVIGATOR FERNAO MAGALHAES (FERDINAND MAGELLAN) THAT THE WORLD CAME TO KNOW THE WORLD WAS ROUND. FACT. wrote in capitals so u get the point

  • @gobluesgogo Dream on, idiot.

  • @torchkit lol, is that all you can come up with??? Where's the arguements, dumbazz. Next time before you speak about somethin you know nothing about, just remember someone smarter might come by to correct you. What I stated is a fact. You have no valid arguements so this discussion is over.

  • @gobluesgogo Yawn. First, learn to spell. I might then deign to unleash my superior intellect to destroy you in debate on any subject in the universe. Or maybe just come back when you reach puberty.

  • @torchkit lol, nevermind your pretty words, substancially you said zero, niente, nada, zil so let's start with quantum physics mr puberty if u dare to unleash ur 3 pubic hairs that u got, lol

  • Comment removed

  • @torchkit WRONG AGAIN! I'm PORTUGUESE which equals GOOD LOOKING. No problem finding girls.

  • @gobluesgogo I only took quantum physics for 2 semesters many years ago, but I think my recollections will be more than adequate to destroy you. Aw, nevermind. This is pointless. I will be the bigger man. You win, troll. I hope your feeling of satisfaction makes up for the fact that you can't get a girlfriend.

  • @gobluesgogo

1Mac.1[1] And it happened, after that Alexander son of Philip, the Macedonian, who came out of the land of Chettiim, had smitten Darius king of the Persians and Medes, that he reigned in his stead, the first over Greece,

1Mac.1[16] Now when the kingdom was established before Antiochus, he thought to reign over Egypt that he might have the dominion of two realms.

1Mac.1[19] Thus they got the strong cities in the land of Egypt and he took the spoils thereof.

    TRUE TRUE U RIGHT

  • muslims show them the way to get there and back. lol

  • The only help Vasco had from the muslims, was a muslim pilot that he contracted in Mombaça (Kenya) to drive him to the indian coast, and this because he didn't knew the local monsoon wind regime. Now, do the math from Lisbon to Mombaça around Africa, and show some respect for the thousands of portuguese lives that were lost in years of previous exploratory attempts of such goal.

  • Wow! I certainly learned a lot about Pedro Alvares Cabral for the test tomorrow. Thank you so much. It really emphasized the cruelty and slavery that was rampant back then. By the way, I'm a follower of YHWH, too. I'm not Jewish, but I'm a child of God. I'm adopted into His Kingdom through Christ. You can talk to me about spiritual issues.

  • good video...crappy music.

  • ShaLaWaM Ahch Edgar, it's nice to see you *back* with the video's!

  • THAWADAH Ahch, ALL Praises to The Most High Father in YHWH-Shi!
