  • They couldn't wait for him to lift it hahaha why hurry the man.

  • Why do bystanders feel compelled to yell "Come on!" over and over again when a lifter is about to make a big pull? Or worse, technique tips . . . do you really think this guy needs any do's and don'ts seconds before launch . . . or that he even hears any of the verbal diahrrea from the sidelines?

  • Hell Yea craig......thats a raw lift. NICE!!!!

  • Good lift, but wow those guys yelling the whole time are annoying.

  • nice lift. the video should start at 1:35 though.

  • Great lift but it looked kinda stupid when he was just staring at the bar opening and closing his hands like a child who just learn to move their fingers

  • SLP is good for fist time lifters unlike this guy :P

  • Oh SLP. That's where I started!

    Great lift!!!

  • raw is the only thing that should count. F8CK SUITS

  • Would anyone happen to know what the world record is in the raw deadlift? I've searched and can't find an answer. Also, would like to know what it is for the squat, for bench I know it's 715 by Mendelson. If anyone knows, thanks in advance.

  • I think the Unequipped squat record is 948 bye mark henry. Not sure about deadlift.

  • the raw squat is 948 by mark henry (the wrestler dude) and I think benedikt Magnussen has the highest RAW deadlift.

  • RAW RAW RAW, awesome

  • raw lifts are the only lifts that matter

    great job

  • @healthhavencom This might be a dumb question but are belts allowed in raw lifts? I read somewhere that a belt is the only eq that can be used and the lift still counts as raw.

  • @sirius212ify

    That's a good question.

But how can anyone logically define RAW as powerlifting with the use of equipment (ie a belt)?

If that were the case, what are we going to call powerlifting without a belt and without any equipment?

I guess we could call it REALLY RAW. But its probably better if we just protect the definition of RAW which is...

RAW: One lifter, One Bar (and some chalk). That's it.

  • @healthhavencom That's exactly what I was thinking. Most of the "raw" divisions and organizations allow at least a belt. It's not consistent with the idea that a raw lift involves no eq. They should call those divisions and organizations "minimal eq." Personally I like belts but despise the idea of suits and bench shirts. I'd rather do a 265lbs bench without eq (belts for squat and dead) than a shirted 400lbs.

  • @sirius212ify

    Your logic makes sense.

There's nothing wrong with using a belt but it makes no sense to call that RAW.

  • @healthhavencom A belt doesn't help a lifter in the way that a tight suit does, so I see no problem allowing raw lifters to use belts.

  • @healthhavencom amen

  • Raw power!!! Thats the way its done .. awesome lift!

  • Damn good lift!

  • a lot of hype in this video, at least the guy lived up to it

  • Tjhat cant be 750 unless those are 100 lbs ones. ( the yellowish tan ones.)

  • The first 6 plates (4 thick yellow, 2 thick gray) are 100Lb plates

  • who cares how long he was on there.. bottom line he lifted it!!! huge power dude.. sick raw pull!

  • Awesome Power but a bit longer than one minute on the platform. Nice lift!
