aside from his age does any body else notice that mosley seems to do better in reyes gloves than in grant gloves. grant gloves i assume aren't as punch promoting as reyes due to different types of padding. gloves DO make a difference to some degree. i'm just saying because grant gloves are pretty bulky. still nice glove but bulky.

But in fact it would have been a tougher fight for floyd 7 possibly a stoppage. I was ring side the night of the Mora fight, Shane moved up to 154lbs (which he usually fights @ 147 & did for the Mayweather fight) to fight mora. you also have to take into consideration besides fighting out of his weight class, Shane don't do well against bigger men especially ones that run most of the fight & try to stand a bit @ the end when he's gassed to try & make up for running earlier.
There are a couple of facts that have to be looked @ when talking about Mosley's last 2 fights. Just before the Mayweather fight Mosley was training for Andre Berto, Berto pulled out of the fight because of the hati incident. Pacquiao & Mayweather fell apart so mayweather & mosley was on. Now I'm not saying shane would have beat floyd either way but I believe that he was over trained by the time he got to floyd. had he not been the fight would have been different no saying mosley would have won.

@jjosephdubya, i agree mayweather knew what he was doing with judah, but judah does have stamina problems and when the stamina goes its hard to keep doing what you did that had you winning, judah just plainly got outboxed, u see mayweather is probably the most well conditioned fighter out there, and his timing is impeccable, you rarely see floyd miss or waste punches

He started chasing Mayweather around and got outboxed he didnt look gased thats a bunch of crap. Mayweather was just more skilled than him. I think Mosley has the advantage if he doesn't try to brawl with him. Pacquiao's strength is infighting because he has superior balance and combinations. From the outside Pacquiao can't fight as well, but he forces people in close because of his fast movement and southpaw stance. A good southpaw jabber like Judah could do some real damage to Pacquiao, I think.

mosley get's tired too easily. you could tell in this match. when faces pacquiao, there is no way he's lasting the last 5 rounds. although, mosley does have a good chin. I just don't think mosley will be able to land a clean punch on pacquiao. Freddie Roach knows mosley has ko power, so pacquiao will fight smart, and either win on tko or UD.

aside from his age does any body else notice that mosley seems to do better in reyes gloves than in grant gloves. grant gloves i assume aren't as punch promoting as reyes due to different types of padding. gloves DO make a difference to some degree. i'm just saying because grant gloves are pretty bulky. still nice glove but bulky.

Mora has only 7 knockouts in his entire professional career, so of course Mosley got caught with a few shots, Mora gave him nothin to respect. The only thing that might have got Shane half way intrested in this fight is that Mora beat Vernon forrest which beat Shane twice. If you know anything about Mora you know he makes for an ugly fight & that's exactly what that was with him & shane. Do you really believe shane will go into the Pacquiao fight the same way especially when theres nothin2 loose

But in fact it would have been a tougher fight for floyd 7 possibly a stoppage. I was ring side the night of the Mora fight, Shane moved up to 154lbs (which he usually fights @ 147 & did for the Mayweather fight) to fight mora. you also have to take into consideration besides fighting out of his weight class, Shane don't do well against bigger men especially ones that run most of the fight & try to stand a bit @ the end when he's gassed to try & make up for running earlier.

There are a couple of facts that have to be looked @ when talking about Mosley's last 2 fights. Just before the Mayweather fight Mosley was training for Andre Berto, Berto pulled out of the fight because of the hati incident. Pacquiao & Mayweather fell apart so mayweather & mosley was on. Now I'm not saying shane would have beat floyd either way but I believe that he was over trained by the time he got to floyd. had he not been the fight would have been different no saying mosley would have won.
