  • It is not a misspelling. Moslem is a variant on the word Muslim. Means the same thing. Your comment was unhelpful. And somehow I feel that pointing out a spelling error means that your "Blessings" were not entirely sincere. You should be quiet.

  • Nice demo. Looks like a useful app. Maybe I'll try it out sometime.

  • Mobile Brainwash

  • Great iPhone app! I am going to download this to my iPhone so that I can have at my touch a list of all the vile, repulsive, sick verses and contradictions contained in the bible!

I also like the "email a buddy" capability so that I can inturn email scriptures back to my friends and family who like to constantly send me their cherry picked bible verses of inspiration!

This thing is going to rock! Thank you!

  • @TheHealthySkeptic Fantastic! I think you will enjoy the app. The more verses you read and memorize the more and more your cynical attitude will fade. That's the power of the Bible and the Word of God. Hope you follow through with your plan on sharing verses with family and friends via our "share" and "buddy" features. The Word will have the same positive effect on them. I guarantee it! Blessings.

  • @MobilizeFaith Thanx 4 your reply. But I must say, my actually reading the entire bible is 1 major factor in my becoming an atheist. That, along with my study of science, geology, biology, history, philosophy and then applying the skills of critical thinking (and of course skepticism).

But In all seriousness, let me say I respect how U conduct yourself with class & maturity towards me & those who may disagree with your views, and 4 that, may U enjoy great success with your product & venture!

  • Is this app available for the Boost Mobile i1 Android ? Thanks, Chuck

  • I LIKE THE BIBLE

  • what a waste

  • lol i love it!

  • god forgive them because they know not they are hurting you Jesus forever shalom

  • This is awesome if you have a phone, Is there something like this online?

  • Memorize scrpture like the kids in the Madrassahs memorize the quran.

  • yes, and how about the periodic table or some education besides bible knowledge? Kids school can be fun and help you make more money for your whole life.

  • You are right. However, memorizing Scripture and memorizing other things are not mutually exclusive. There are lots of things in life which you should memorize. The Bible is there for your Spiritual growth, comfort and understanding.

  • @MobilizeFaith ' Memorizing the bible is a total waste of time. It reminds me of the Madrassahs of the Moslem world. The bible is not and cannot be the word of god. It`s man-made. I would rather read" Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs" It`s more educational and inspiring.

  • @lizazoon Thanks for your comment. You misspelled "Muslim" Blessings.

  • @lizazoon I disagree. I think it necessary 4 believers and nonbelievers 2 know, and at some length memorize, particular scriptures. Something that has had such an impact on Western society & the world & the way a large part of our society "thinks" should be familiar to us all. If only to point out the contradictions, fallacies & repulsive verses 2 the "believers" who, I tend to find, actually know less about the book they claim holds the key to eternal salvation than most nonbelievers.

  • mybrotherjesus

    Yes im very sure

  • well done, but i would like to see one christian who has memorised the whole bible, wheras the quran has been memorised by millions around the world, because god has said in the quran which is over 6000 verses long, "indeed, the quran has been made easy to remember, so is there anyone to remember it" surah qamar- no offence my christian freinds

  • No offence, but even Ahmed Deedat could "recite" surah, trouble is, he couldn't understand Arabic, so he put a Christian tract in his Koran because it was in Arabic script, he thought it must be writings from the Koran. When someone told him, he accused the missionaries of deceit! (doh!) What's the point of memorising 6000 verses you don't understand?

  • well,if after somebody has memorised the quran,he dosent learn arabic then thats his own fault-not the fault of the sytem-the point is that if 100 years later some1 called paul wants to come and change it,then we have nothin to worry about becaus the quran is in the hearts of people,i ask u,wats the point in follwing a book which you claim to say is gods, yet u know that along came about 10-15 people who put there own opinions in and its not in the form that jesus christ left it ???

  • May the peace that passes understanding be upon you Mohammed.

Paul's writings are very early, even than the gospels. The gospel was not written by Jesus, but God moved men by his Holy Spirit. Jesus wrote nothing. God displays his grace by involving men and women throughout history.

The Gospel (Injil) is found in Genesis, through to Revelation it is the good news that God will save us. There are over 40 authors, from Kings to servants, in 66 books all with God's breath giving them life.

  • Please take the time to get a new testament and read Paul's letters to the churches. You will see that he is a holy man who earnestly prays for all believers. Do not take someone else's word about Paul. Read him for yourself and pray to God to give you understanding. You will see that Paul suffered much for Jesus and the gospel. There is many convincing proofs for the books in the new testament. The NT is not the Injil, Jesus never wrote a book, but men wrote as they were moved by God.

  • exactly-jesus neva wrote any books but was writen by over 40 people AFTER him-if someo1 2day a holy man "gets moved by god",and starts ading more in wil u accept dat aswel? thanx,i,v alredy red it-nw lt me dirct you to a vers-1st epistle jhon-4-(paraphrasing)"do nt believ every spirit/prophet dat goes out becaus many false spirit/prophets hav gon out- test dem"(HOW?) "ANY SPIRIT/PROPHET DAT CONFESES I AM THE CHRIST IS OF GOD" please get a copy of the quran and then listen to jesus christ pbuh.

  • Hi Mohammed,

thank you for paraphrasing the verse, unfortunately you didn't just paraphrase you mistranslated a little bit.

    The actual words are:

Beloved, believe not every spirit (pneuma), but try the spirits (pneuma)whether they are of God: because many false prophets (pseudoprophetes) are gone out into the world. this verse in no way shows that false prophets actually wrote any books.

Did you read the rest of the 1st John chapter 4?

  • @nicerperson -yes, my point is that in this verse jesus christ uses the word spirit and prophet for the same purpose-ie;a true spirit is a true prophet :a false spirit,a false prophet-(ie-jesus christ mentions about the "spirit of truth" coming-Muhammed s.a.w was known by the people as al-amin(the truthful) before claiming prophethood-)

so when he says to the people"test them if they are of god"" and how do you do that-jesus says "any spirit prophet which testifies i am the christ IS of god"

  • @mohammed6175 if you look at the words you will see it is an instruction, test the spirits, i.e. is it the spirit of truth or spirit of anti-christ. Why do we have to test them? - :Because.... because of what? many false prophets are gone out.

It is not associating spirit with prophet as interchangeable terms. There are many places in the bible where you plainly see that prophets and spirits are different things. Num 11:29, 1Sa 10:10, 1Ki 22:22-23, and dozens more up to Rev 16:13

  • yes , but if u carefuly read dis vers wid a open mind,u wil find dat da word spirit + prophet is used 4 da same thing, + jesus says many fals prophets hav GONE,nt r comin,so obviously da diciples want 2 knw hw 2 tel da diference,so jesus givs them a way 2 fnd out by sayin dat da 1 who testfies dat i am da christ IS of god-if u do ur histry, u wil find dat yes, ther was alt of peopl who claimd prophecy, but if u do da jesus test u will find that da only person hu pased it was Muhammed s.a.w PEACE

  • @mohammed6175 Hi Mohammed, you can not just take one verse and make it say what you want. I know you would really want this to be about your prophet.

You have to look at all the other mentions in the bible and see what it means in each case, compare scripture with scripture and also see what the context is.

When Paul wrote this, there were people trying to "spiritualise" everything and could not believe that the messiah, the saviour of the world would be a human man.

  • @nicerperson jesus says that the only way the comforter can come is by me going, but the spirit was already there before, plu if u read deutronomy 18-18, there is another prophecy, theres loads- as far as the son is concerned-think about it,when u say someone begets a child what are ur thoughts- (no offence),but beggeting is a animal act which implies a child coming out of someones ******, this is wrong, the quran was revealed to clear these issues, plus if u read the bible, god has sons by the tons

  • @mohammed6175 Hi Mohammed, God bless you but we have already drifted far from topic on this video.

If you wish, let us take this discussion off line and we can email each other directly. You are repeating invalid arguments, I can show this to you but it will be easier by mail rather discussion in these little boxes.

I invite you to look at some evidence, You can send private email by clicking on the user name.

  • @nicerperson -hello, sorry i,m not too good at using this pc,if i just send u may email, then we can start from the start, because your right, its difficult to say what u want in these small boxes, Peace

  • also, you can't just take the word GONE by itself and claim it just meant past prophets, it is "gone out" which means disseminated, exerchomai is one greek word meaning "proceed, issue, spread abroad"

The Gnostics had the spirit of antichrist by denying he came in the flesh. If you want to use this verse, what do you do with the other? 1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

  • @nicerperson hello,u c,wen muslims say the quran is the word of god,we mean literally word 4 word, but the christians also say this, but then if u read he bible u will c that the bible has many authors,so the question of it being the WORD of god goes out the window-jesus ays in the bible keep the comandments-then some1 else comes along and says all u have to do is believe-which one is it?do these statements sound like their comin from the same source?no,because they are contradictory -continued...

  • and further in the same chapter are very words your book denies,

1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Your book says god cannot have a son or beget a son, so where do these verses leave you?

  • @nicerperson : memorizing the bible reminds me of the Madrassahs of Pakistan. Same thing. It`s a total waste of time.

  • As far as the test is concerned why dnt u try it, what are u afraid of? can u name ANYONE ele who testified that jesus is the christ-u c,if u read the verse carefully, jesus says, that"if i dont go,then the comforter cannot ome,but if i go he will come onto u",so here jesus is saying that the only way the comforter can come is by him going-but if u read earlier, the holy spirit was there at jesus birth,he was with jesus and the diiciples-so the question of it being da holy spirit is out, becaus cnt

  • 1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

It's a lovely chapter, where it mentions God, his Spirit and his Son. Thank you for reminding me of those verses.

  • It was the whole bible written by 40 ppl, in the last book revelation Jesus warns John: I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book (biblos), If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

  • @nicerperson-- in the last book revelation Jesus warns John: -- Revelation is total nonsense.

  • @lizazoon Thank you for your insightful comment, I am sure it has contributed much to the discussion.

  • @nicerperson Thank you too. for the same reason.

  • clever idea

  • Christianity profits again.

I'm still waiting for World of Biblecraft you guys.

  • Far better to memorize the scriptures than to not be aware of them at all. At least this system has people reading the Bible, which can only be a good thing. I give it a thumbs up.

  • EXCELLENT!

  • Awesome idea mobilize. =)

  • educatedAtheist my friend - While it is true that mere reciting information like, as you said multiplication tables does not indicate understanding the topic, I think you would agree that it is a valuable and a positive step along the path to using and understanding the topic. The Bible i can confidently say has eternally important information that can save your life if properly applied. God bless you now.

  • The bible is nothing but a book fileld with errors and contradictions...its alos about this genocidal jealous maniac who just loves killing people.

  • As a teacher I am less than impressed, The mere reciting of information be it bible, multiplication tables or the periodic table of the elements dose not indicate understanding or the ability to apply information

  • Thanks for your comment. I think the motivation for memorizing Scripture is very different from the examples you provided. If I had to compare memorizing Scripture to another secular example of memorization, I would compare it to memorizing poetry or literary quotations. I know it is trendy right now to knock the practice of memorization by educators, but poetry, literature and definitely Scripture is much more real and alive if it is easily recalled verbatim--in its full original phrasing

  • @MobilizeFaith Thank you for the application, a great idea, let me know when you have developed one for the BlackBerry, I will definitely get it.

As for all the negative comments, well atheists and antichrists will always attack the word of god, but it is an anvil against which all hammers will wear out

  • Last eve I passed beside a blacksmith’s door

    And heard the anvil ring the vesper chime;

When looking in, I saw upon the floor,

Old hammers worn with beating years of time.

“How many anvils have you had,” said I,

“To wear and batter these hammers so?”

“Just one,” said he; then with a twinkling eye,

“The anvil wears the hammers out, you know.”

  • And so, I thought, the anvil of God’s Word,

    For ages, skeptics blows have beat upon;

Yet, though the noise of falling blows was heard,

The anvil is unharmed – the hammers gone.
