It's obvious from both the situation and the reaction of the people that they were feeding a live animal to the frog and filming it for kicks and for laughs, which is, actually, wrong, unnecessary and inhumane. Even if the frog didn't accept dead mice, you wouldn't have to feed it live ones. Rodents aren't essential to their diet.

I can see if your friend has more than 5 snakes he'd feed frozen, feeding live doesn't mean anyone is less loving of their animals. I feed snakes Live, doesn't mean I shouldn't own animals. Snakes in the wild eat live food, not much different in captivity.

One pinky mouse a month is what most people say is the maximum. They do perfectly well on insects and some fish now and then and some calsium powder every other feeding. I currently have snakes and I feed them all prekilled mice and rats, because that is better for the rodents and safer for my snakes cus the rodents do bite.
