  • You can buy a Square pan on Amazon.com o o It doesn't have to be exactly that kind.

  • ... i've never come across a rectangular pan.

  • Just made it, and it was yummy:)

  • センス無さすぎ(笑)

    盛り付けが、ダメ・・・

    華でも習え

    wwww

  • i like him

  • Thanks for the video! I've never heard of using soup stock, that sounds really tasty!

  • He's cute :)

  • Kawaii desu ne?

  • I want that pan...

  • Am I the only one who thinks he is so sexy? Probably because he cooks so well or something but his voice is so cute too.

  • Oh my god!!!!! i love this video and jusr lik linkinhardy@ i lost confidence when he flipped the egg!!! oh and he is cute!!!! kawwaaiii >.<

  • He says "desu ne" so much, hontou ni, he's soooo kawaii n.n and this was such a technique c:

  • he looks and sounds like my bf o.0

  • It was still too salty :( But I managed to make the best looking Japanese omelet so far with his instructions! Thank you!

  • He's cute. =)

  • found my husband :)

  • What did he put in the eegs in the beginning and where do you find a freaking square omlete

  • 微妙になまってますね(笑)

  • Dōmoarigatōgozaimas

  • nice technique!

  • How the crap did you get a square pan!! D< now I can't make the damn eggs!!

  • Best recipe AND tutorial : just tried them out and yummie! Just need to practice on that rolling :)

  • omg what is the song??? must have it!

  • @reddiez did you really miss when it was up on the screen for like thirty seconds...?

  • These are best omelets in the world <3

  • Tohogu namari?

  • @mariobrassieres

    似てるけど、どっちかというと、北関東(茨城や群馬あたり)かなー。

  • MINECRAFT OMELET!!

  • I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU!!! D;

  • my rule has always been, "never trust a skinny cook....unless you're in Japan." lol

  • I counted the times he said "desu ne" to be about 50 times xD Lol I might have missed me. Man, this guy is adorable<333

  • Hmmmmmm. I put sugar on mine. Maybe that is why it has a weird aftertaste. Also, maybe the dashi makes it fluffy because mine is not at all. I'll deff try making tamagoyaki with these ingredients next time. Mine comes out perfect shape, but I just don't use the right ingredients I guess.

  • i once discovered how suagr takes that nasty bitterness that eggs typically have. In fact i know have replaced my omlettes with sugar instead of salt. Eggs can have that awful bitter taste

  • :O *stunned

OMG! You're my most favourite chef ever!!!!!!

  • why is it so easy when u watch it then u start cooking n doing the flip then it becomes hard? >:(

  • 彼はとてもかわいいです。料理が上手だ。私は愛」など。

  • The chef is unbelievably charming. "Kawaii desu ne."

Me: That's not the only thing that's pretty in this video o_o

Anyhow, I tend to just make tamagoyaki. I can't really find a lot of ingredients in a tiny white community in the states. I just tend to cook them in a regular frying pan and then transfer it into tin foil when it is time to roll, this emulate the procedure professionals follow and it finishes cooking itself. (My girlfriend taught me this, she's Japanese.)

  • 何回言ってだろう(>人<;)

  • ですね、ですね で可愛い喋り方( ̄▽ ̄)

  • I love the heart shaped omelet..the cook is kawaii, too.

  • I am so going to try that for the next couple of days.

  • hayyy que lindo se ve

  • 映画お願いします。:)

  • i need to try this

  • ganja

  • serves 2 my ass, I'd totally scarf that down and want more.

  • LOL at myself! Omelette is my favourite, when I ordered some sushi and noticed some yellow slices on the top of rice sushi, it looked weird to me and had no idea what it was, I decided not to eat it! A couple of months later, I now saw this video, I never realised it was omelette!

  • Cook:Kawaiiku.

Me:So I just have to make it look like you ? :D

He is such a bishounen. my dick wants him. >=D

  • I love the love shape tamagoyaki!

  • @gel8180 press the CC button next to the resolution button

  • Uhm so he's putting Sake (alcohol) into the tamagoyaki?

  • @Awesome1601 It's for flavoring only. The alcohol evaporates during the cooking process.

  • @hulahoop001 Thanks

  • Ka-...........ka-........ka.......Kawaii~

  • He's so cute :3

    His voice makes me squeal<33

  • He flipped the pan sooooo easily :( I swear i'll throw a egg out for sure :(

  • so handsome!! i bet the foods he cooked are delicious!! hehehe

  • O________O". that's how. THANKSSSSSSSSSS

  • i was so confident taht i could do it ......then he starts doing flips....

  • @linkinhardy to do flips you must push quickly and pull away as quickly

  • What kind of "Soup" is he using? is there a sub for it in america?

  • @KoryRage, he's using dashi stock which is dried kelp and katsuobushi soaked in heated water. en(.)wikipedia(.)org/wiki/Dashi There's no substitute for dashi stock in America, but I think that you can find powdered dashi stock in an Asian supermarket though I could be wrong.

  • i'm sure is good, but i do prefer well done both sides eggs, that's why i eated this once and never again :(

  • Am I the only one who CAN'T see the subtitles?

i didn't know either i recently found about that O:

  • I dont know why my fried egg didnt have such beautiful color like that. I paid attention not to let the heat too high but so...

    T_T

  • You are kawaii, ne? XD

  • Of course I learn more from the guy teaching me how to cook in Japanese than those in my native language. Then I realize there is a closed caption button and its in English! Hell! -Favorites-

I wonder how well it actually tastes without sugar though... I always use a large amount of sugar and mirin.... I always over saturate my dashi...

  • what is the chef's name?

  • It looks so yummeh DESU NEH?! xD lol next time I'll count how much times he says desu ne... =3=''

  • Where do i get that pan? Wow!

  • Anyone knows what is his name?

  • who still rocks the centre parting hairstyle nowadays? japanese do.

  • Where the hell is the English subtitle?

  • @dagatansisiw click the cc button at the bottom of the vid.

  • English subtiles my bum....

  • English subtiles my bum >:(

  • @YourFellowCavemen click the cc on the bottom of the video

  • Sexiest ...omelette...I have ever ...seen

  • are all the sauces necessary, can't I just roll it over and over

  • @fireclaw2 soy sauce is pretty much a key but you can do it so long as you wait for the pan to be piping hot then put on your egg with salt AND i recommend sugar :) the sugar is very nice and is done in japanese cuisine -including omlette- often

  • @Blentastic so...you add sugar with salt if you don't have soy sauce with you? :/

  • @xenosagaX2 you can but not too much and it wont replace soy sauce..its only a sub ... when your whisking the eggs put the soy sauce in if you have any if not all shops stock em ... i add sugar in the mix and sprinkle some on when its in the pan for the sweet taste

  • @Hige09 how can he burn his hand at 00:58. When he was mixing the eggs?

  • @missyukithao I meant if u see his hand while hes mixing there is a round burn. Or some kind of bruise.

  • @Hige09 oh u mean that brown dot on his hand? i see but it must be a birthmark.
