The wolf's form is beautiful. I for one find this an extremely difficult angle to master. The coloring is amazing. A real wolf's eyes are not commonly or ever blue, but it just fits in a way that I can't explain. The texture is outstanding, too. Your shading is what I admire the most about this piece. The only thing that find wrong with this is that it doesn't have whiskers. Just a bit of constructive criticism there, because actual wolves have whiskers. Overall, I think it should be featured i

Why get so pumped up for a little picture?

It's not like i've been making a drawing out of a super realistic wolf. And im not proving anyone wrong by saying '' This IS how a WOLF look like. '', it's just a piece of art that i felt like showing.

And, i have not studied wolves or anything. But i've meet a few IRL becaus im a qualified youth-dogtrainer, so if i felt like drawing a wolf ( like three years after this piece of crap) now it would look more realistic.

An old wolf that has cataracts may appear to have blue eyes, but this is the cataract rather than the actual eye colour.

I don't think the size is a matter here cus i don't think you've got the pen pressure yet.

Witt the pen pressure you push the pen harder to get thicker and harder lines, and smoother to get smoother and thinner ones.

I have studied the anatomy of wolves and I really love your artwork, really amazing. But there was only one small thing about it, you made the wolf's legs a little too short. @FliqpyDidntDoIt I still suck a little but one thing i do recommend is try to draw things a little bit different each time until your happy with one of those things then continue to draw it the same. that way you continue to shape your own style and work your way towards becoming happy with your art.

My thoughts of an digital artist, you can't acctually be seriouse and try to make something by comp mouse. You got to get a tablet to start up.

My choice of tablet is wacom bamboo fun (Y)

Thanks, but I have been drawing with a comp mouse on ms paint for like ever. It takes a while to get the fur to look right but its doable. Also not the best system, MS paint. You can't do anything, like smear or shadow, unless you bend the lines and choose different colors. What system do you suggest for all of that?

I also started up with comp M, but when you finaly start drawing for first time with

tablet. All training by comp mouse is loose, its not the same at all to hold a pen or slice the mouse through paint.

Well, i consider that photoshop is really great if you illustrate.

But for my own choice of style on my art. PaintTool SAI fits great (Y)
