Well first off they usually sing big and loud, they are rock stars after all! So to sing unplugged, they had to tone it down! Andrea sounds really good live when they sing their song like they normally do. And Cristina sounds Awesome! I love LC!!

Clearly he HAS been practicing...although, yes, his is not the finer voice of the duo. this guy sounds like a fruitcake... i mean who didn't laugh at those first words of his. the chick on the other hand balances out his suckness and the song actually is pretty good.
I really don't see the need for Andreas :/ He really can't do it live, he adds nothing to the band... Now if they got a guttural vocalist and changed their style slightly, they could become a brilliant Melodeath 'beauty and the beast' type affair :D

I think that's brilliant, it's just that Andreas has a shit voice and doesn't make a brilliant counterpart to Christina, you could even say he detracts from her, he's off key, can't hold the notes and looks like he doesn't give a damn (I refer you to 2:36, I mean that's just horrible...)
Fantastic! Shows how damned talented LC are that they can do their heavy electronic/metal songs acoustically, and still have the acoustic versions be just as brilliant :)

He formed the band, Cristina was a nice addition, the band became good, Cristina became great (but humble enough: not bragging about it or starting soloing crap), then Andreas blew trying to sing on flat brown note with a lot of reverb as a cover for his lack of practice and tons of arrogance.
@code933k well, his job in the band is not to sing, he is just doing the darker voice so that it's easier for metalheads to listen to Christinas light voice :)

@code933k Sorry, but i find the contrast between the 2 voices perfect, especially on studio tracks. You don't need to have super skills to make good songs. You can judge the technique or you can simply judge the song. Trip the darkness studio version is one of the best songs of 2012 so far and IMO. Even if Andrea live does not sound perfect, he's very important, without him LC will never be the same.

Of course his studio voice isn't as bad... Just listen to Britney. Anybody can growl if the problem is making some noise backing Cristina's voice. My problem is this performance for this particular song which is definitely embarrassing for the whole band.
