  • Kenne sie nur von LP und Cassetten, die man früher beim Autofahren auf langen Wegen gehört hat. Klingt gut.

  • Banda impresionante !!!...

  • I love this track, and all of this album to be honest!

  • I love it! What a beautiful surprise.

  • With respect to all the musicians in this group...I will have to admit that I hate this version and will therefore have to press the disslike button. The reasons for that is, this sounds like a very bad cover of what Caravan used to be. The keyboard sounds very cheap, Coughlan's playing is simply lazy, the guitar solo doesn't fit at all as a matter of fact, the only thing I liked was the pizzicato solo on the violin.

  • god, where have they been my whole life...?

  • hell yeah .... it's the one, the only, CARAVAN! 'beaut'

  • Love the way Jan played the organ solo with just a hint of bend :-)

  • Many old bands still playing make me cringe but these guys do not! they still play as good and look like they are enjoying it still a top band in their day and STILL. Watched them live many many years ago and they were amazing live...what a sound!

  • Nice to see this live version. I really like how in so many of their early albums they always made room for some memorable instrumentals.

  • well i came here looking for " I wish I were stoned" which appears to have been removed...what a shame, but at least I can say " Thank You" to whoever posted this one...great pleasure for me, at 54 years of age, I remember Caravan playing this piece Live when I was less then 16 years old and it still sounds very very good !

    Thank you for your posting,

    P

  • I've seen them a few times, this tour as well I think...As for Doug Boyle 'raping his guitar'..Yes Mam...he did just that, and good luck to him. Everyone deserves at least one good freakout every day..Not easy to step into a band like that , with fans expecting what they know, but he's a great addition to the band.

  • It is Jan, indeed my friend!

  • this is actually Dave Sinclair on the synthesizer not Jan Schlelhaas

  • There used to be some great footage of Caravan live at the Diss hotel, from a good 10 (+?) years ago. Was on there site once.

I'd be grateful if anyone can help me find it, please. It was a great gig

  • Sqaw Caravan in their prime, live on the launch of their "girls that grow plump in the night" album BRILLIANT LIVE! superb sound. Such a very great band and underated by British music industry. One of the best Bands to come out of UK IMO

  • Sweet smell of Prog!

  • I finally got to see these guys in about '05 with Nektar. They blew Nektar off the stage imo. Definately one of the best bands around at the time, and now.

  • maravilhoso!

  • Doug Boyle is a great guitarist, but I don't think his style of playing fits well with a band like Caravan. I mean, look at the end of the song, he's practically raping that guitar!

  • janjic - Don't "look" - just listen! He compliments the Caravan sound well. We can all just listen to the old recordings if we don't like to "progress". Only my opinion. Hope they get back together at some point in the future.

  • @janjic I like the first solo, very Steve HIllage-ish. The second one however, does not fit with the song.

  • Stunning!

  • Great, Caravan is one the best bands ever.
