I think Paul was actually the strongest voice of the temps. That's why Eddie was not as enthusiastic about the group after Paul got sick. Eddie left after Paul died. Eddie, himself, even acknowledged that Paul was one of the main reason that they got the contract w/ Motown. Paul was the dancer - they had no rhythm until Paul came. David, although he has issues, was a great addition! He was not over-rated. He had one of the strongest voices of the group. Paul, Eddie and David MADE the temps.
