I remember this. I was in a red rooster drive thru with a view of great eastern hwy getting my lunch and all of a sudden these cops on motorcycles came screaming up to the traffic lights and blocked all the lanes to keep the road clear. Then came the motorcade along with ambos, police bearcats (tanks) & trg 4wd's and a buttload of big black cars with very mean looking secret service types hanging off, guns at the ready.

I wonder how many people will bitch and whine and grovel when Secretary of State Clinton uses this plane or one of the larger 757s, or First Lady Michelle Obama and the kids fly alone in the larger 757 with all of the same security??? Or bitch about Nancy Pelosi wanting to use this aircraft just to fly from Washington to California every weekend?

I love the 757-2 with winglets more that the 737-7 with winglets.. The news has been showing the 757 with Sec. of State Mrs. Clinton. I love that aircraft. The 737-7 is ok. Just smaller..

Yes...the C-32A (757-2G4) is much nicer and sleeker-looking than the C-40-B (737-7CP)...longer, though with the same fuselage cross-section. Same fuselage cross-section as the old 707s the 4 752s replaced. For the VIP aboard, the Distinguished Visitor Compartment is the same size aboard both the 737 Boeing Business Jet and 757, just less room for press and entourage on the 737. Both SecState Clinton and SecState Gates use both a good bit. Both also serve as AF2 and even as backup Air Force One.

Thanks for your comment. Yeah, I love the 757-2 more more.. I flew on them a lot with my former company. First class of only 24 passengers was good. But my past company does not fly winglets though. I see American Airlines with the ones from TWA (757-2 with winglets on them) that and when they (AA) brought TWA. Thanks, Happy Hoildays..

seeing the president always flys on the 747, there would be no crying if they flew on the 757 or 737 because they dont. Secondly, Nancy Pelosi will not ride on a plane like that... she usually flies on a smaller jet with the same paint scheme... but yah... the plane is beautiful

Sorry, both Presidents Bush and Obama have used the C-32A 757 as Air Force One (and even the C-37B Gulfstream G550). Bush used the 747, the 757, and the Gulfstream when flying to his ranch in Texas. Obama's first flight as President (not the flight as President-Elect) aboard AF1 was aboard a 757 due to the short flight into Pennsylvania. Quite true that he normally uses the 747s. He also used a Gulfstream for his famous "date night with Michelle in NYC." Yes, painted in the same colors.

As for Pelosi, I'm not saying that she has been granted usage of a 757, but that she TRIED to sequester one for her usage for her weekend flights to California. There is a YouTube video of her as I recall (I've seen it several places) where reporters question her about this asking why she isn't satisfied with the normal Gulfstream V, and she states brazenly "It's not a question of size, but of range." When everybody knows that the GVs and G550s can fly all the way from DC to CA without refuel.

You were smart to capture this rare footage. Although I have to admit, I really cant stand that woman and it leaves you wondering about carbon emmissions etc when politicians have a private aircraft of this size and the pope travels with 15 or so companions on a 747!

Yeah, such a fuss for one woman! There were stacks of secret service and the entourage had around 20 cops in cars and on bikes. We met the Dalai Lama a few weeks ago and he just got off a normal Qantas 767 and walked thru the terminal like everyone else!

Hey, yeah I filmed it from the observation deck of the International terminal. They moved the plane out further away before she came and there were heaps of staff and secret service guys fussing for 2 hours before she even got there.
