That is low quality? You should see what my pc could run then.. Laptop if you will.. 1600 x 900 is my screen. I have to run it on 1280 x 800 with some of the lowest settings possible. Wee.. still a sick game

They could use the animation from a character carrying a torch, cause you hold the torch even when not in combat and you could just replace that whit the staff!

@twitch6969S i think nexus had to take the mod down. might have been due to copyright infringement which is quite sad really. do you still want it?

I installed everything manually and then on the advice of Gopher decided it would be best to install everything through mod manager. So I deleted my mod file so I could install them through NMM.

Luckily I found the rar file it in the recycle bin from when I installed it previously :)

I knew not deleting everything in the bin was a good idea.

Shame the mod hs gone though. It is very good, shame some people won't get a chance to use it

That Idle Staff idea is perfect. I hate it how my staves just disappear when not in use. I've seen more complex ideas done in Oblivion so an experienced modder shouldn't have that much trouble tackling an idea like that.

@PheroYT That's true. I never really thought about the lack of flow the cape should have. I mean, they had it in Kotor 2, and that was an original Xbox game. I still think it lends to the stealthy element quite nicely, though. But I agree, they should make a physics patch for Skyrim, or somebody should make a mod for better cape animations. It would be fantastic.

@DarkenedProgress Yes I did and no it was not a mistake. I pronounce that word 'lik' with a hard 'k' or a germanic 'ch'. And dragon priest are most definately lich. Both in TES lore and by every conceivable defintion of lich.

I love Nightingale prime, both versions of it. its all i ever use on my evil swordsman female character, i agree it can be a a bit lore breaking if u attend u have ur character look the same as the average Skyrim citizen. I prefer to have my char look more unique.

you could have like the mine redone and have acc dwarves and mabey a quest line qhen you have to liberate the mines from banits so the dwarves can move in

I think a Night Eye spell would spoil the racial ability of Khajits... not good. Maybe an upkeep cost would do the trick?

@hurrdurrmurrgurr No, Khajiits get a damage bonus to their claws and a toggle-able Night Eye power, which costs no Magicka and can be used whenever you want.

@hurrdurrmurrgurr They are both Khajiits's abilities. Claws allow to do 3x unarmed damage and Night Eye allows to see at night. In fact, night eye is the ability this mod is using to work. ;)

Here's my mod wish. Could it be set up so that improving enchanted armor/weapons actually improved the enchantment also- ie; Shrouded Cowl + 20% bow, when improved = + 25%

Anyway, great video as allways. There is one thing about that mod thou, it comes in tree varionts of cape: default, capeless and torn cape. Check the description from the mod author...

I completely agree with your mod wishlist. One of the reasons my mage didn't bother with using staves was the fact that it didn't appear on your character when you were idle. The staff vanishing just broke immersion for me, so I never bothered using it.

the night eye is in the game but it's a power now, for khajiit and vampires, and i think they scraped it since they changed how you get experience. since now just casting a spell at nothing will not give you exp they probably had no way to make an effective way of using it.

I tried Nightingale Prime armor, but I didn't like either version. I recommend trying "Nightingale Hi-res Retex with Torn Scarf and Variants by AlphaDragoon and InfiniDragon" It doesn't go overboard with the retexturing, just makes the default look a lot better. I don't like the way people walk around with their weapon out. They look so ready for battle, and I think that animation should only appear when there's enemies around. When you just have your weapon out, like in a town for instance, you should carry it like a normal person.
