  • Funny thing is Time Squad which was made back in 2000 wasn't a good show but compared to 3/4 of the ish CN puts out today aside from a few decent shows it was better than a lot of them.

  • anyone else notice the drum logo that says fridays looks like the facebook logo

  • You get Two big thumbs way up. Thank you, codeseven for uploading the weekend summerfest crossover concerts. You rock, and these videos rock too!

  • i miss johnny bravo!

  • all the old cn cartoons i miss is in that crowd heres a list of my faves to my least faves

    Powerpuff girls

    Dexter's Laboraratory

    Edd, Ed n' Eddy

    Courage the Cowardly Dog

    Johnny Bravo

  • The one person who disliked either likes the new Cartoon Network, or cant do the monkey.

  • @Macemack I think the only bad shows on CN are: Johnny Test, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, Sidekicks, Scaredy Squirrel, Problem Solvers, and all of the live action shows. There are lot of good shows on CN nowadays, they haven't gone complete shit like Nickelodeon and Disney Channel have.

  • @Hotmanlion12 What, you like Almost Naked Animals?

  • @Demonhornz Meh, it's alright, but not one of my favorites.

  • Admit it, you tried to find Johnny Bravo in every seen he was available in.

  • you dont see this anymore, characters from different shows together and interacting with one another god I miss the good ol' days.....sheesh at 21 I feel like an old man typing that.

  • Wth is towelie doing at the corner in the beginning!?

  • CARTOON CARTOON Friday was the one thing i waited for all week to watch

  • As Seen on:

    /co/- Cartoons and Comics

You say that as if it's something to be proud of.

  • That is some badass rockabilly!!

  • \(^o^)/

  • Johnny Bravo learned to dance from the Peanuts

  • Thumbs up if Van Partible brought you here.

  • Man the bassist looks like hes having MAJOR fun :D

  • Is it just my memory playing tricks, or do I remember a time when there wasn't even an Adult Swim on Cartoon Network...?

  • @DisneyBlackJet really!? don't lie!

  • @RandomUsernameFerYou Yep. Adult Swim was launched September 2, 2001. :-)

  • i like cartoon network back when it ONLY HAD CARTOONS!

  • johnny bravo, ed edd and eddy, dexters laboratory, pokemon, dragon ball z, samuri jack cartoons in my child hood were the best

  • @NintendoSinceBirth1 you just squeezed my entire childhood into 1 comment

  • RIP The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, ReBoot, The Powerpuff Girls, Outlaw Star, Zoids, Transformers: Armada,Samurai Jack , Batman Beyond and much more i miss those shows so much i hate all these new ones why cartoonnetwork why are u failing so hard and playing stupid ass shows

  • who are the guys singing

  • @fanon44 reverend horton heat and his band their amazing

  • this video is the onlye cartoon network groovies what never have come from mexico

  • Man this just sad..... our old favorite shows are gone..... now we have are crappy ass shows like that new Secret Moutain Fort Awesome. I wish we can go back to old ways of our favorite cartoons. :(

  • Boy good ol days were the best

  • Horton Heat's psychobilly Freakout kicks more ass. OH MOMMA!

  • Nostalgia

  • I liked shows like Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Courage the cowardly dog, etc... the early CN from the 90's to mid 2000's... not this crap like adventure time, flap jack, etc.... well, Total Drama island is pretty good....

  • @ChysonXCENSORED If you're going to rant about the old being better than the new, you better as hell include Total Drama anything with that list. It is the worst show that has ever been on Cartoon Network. THE WORST.

  • @SirRavenIII Don't think of it as a rant, it's an opinion....

  • Remember when cartoons were real?

  • This was awesome back then and its awesome today!

  • LMAO my childhood heroes are dancing hilariously XD especially Johnny B. and Johnny 2x4

  • HEIL THE REVEREND HORTON HEAT!

  • Why is Towlie at the beginning of this? Was he originally part of this video?

  • Hmmm, I never got to see these, I live in England and back then we only had 4 terrestrial channels! Seeing these makes me realise that children's entertainment in America and England were very very different! Now it's changing, and I reckon it's a good thing :)

  • ROFL towlie!!! wtf is towlie doing in a cartoonnetwork thing? he is from southpark

  • The Dog is Sthuck in CCF Logo 0:48

  • t0wlie!

  • Damn this makes me feel nostalgic which means I'm no longer a kid which means I'm getting old. Aaagghh. Still I enjoyed reminiscing anyway. Great song I remember hearing over and over again on the CN of old, which is superior in so many ways but maybe that's just the part of me that wants to be young and carefree again.

  • OMG this brought my childhood memories back. I saw Reverend Horton Heat in concert. They kick ass! Too bad they didn't play this song :(

  • Ho Hah Hoouh!

  • wtf Towely??

  • Aaaah, Cartoon Network Fridays. So many good memories.

Really, the late 90s were pretty kickass overall. Except for A Pup Named Scooby Doo. Fuck that show.

Oh, and Duck Tales. Fuck Duck Tales.

  • EVERYBODY DO THE MONKEY!

  • LOL!

Is the same band that made Phycobilly Freak Out

  • ROFL! johnny bravo crip walking!

  • anyone else notice mr. towelie at the very beginning :/

  • @Cierrs456 yeah

  • 1 person is a sinner.whoever the cunt that disliked this must have been a sinner ;-)

  • lol @ Weasel: "Ladies and Gentlemen: Reverend Horton Heat!"

    The Reverend RULES!

  • I finally understand why Johnny Bravo wanted those girls. .

    Still an awesome show, though.

  • It's amazing I'm 22 years old and I can name each and every character and show that was shown in this video and who knows how long.

  • omg i remeber this song it use 2 play all the time durin commercials or after haha me & my sis got a kick out of this song mann i miss all the old shows frm the 90 's :(

  • @angiekute23 We all do hon, we all do.

  • I never noticed how many famous people they got to do these. Huh.

  • I always thought the kanker sister with blue hair(I forgot her name) was hot... Is that weird?

  • @blackmoss267 I always liked the slutty looking redhead... lol

  • the new catoonnetwork is soo boring now

  • what about ed ed n eddy?

  • I MET JIMBO AND THE REV <3333

  • you can never find another guy like johnny bravo, except the tank in l4d, but still, cn today is meaningless senseless stupid up the arse putrid pile of fecle matter out the ass

  • the most BITCHIN stand-up bass ever

  • Hell yeah, The Horton!

  • That show Lanuches Seth McFarlane's careers. They need to remember that. Without 90's cartoon network there be no Family guy, American Dad, or the Cleavland Show Period.

  • GENTELMEN WHAT WAS THE NAME OF THE ONE WITH THE TIME TRAVELING ORPHAN BOY TO FIX HISTORY

  • @BOXMAN666666666 Time Squad

  • @BOXMAN666666666 Time Squad?? or somethin

  • TOWELIE..... 0_0

  • compare the early CN (90's to mid- 2000's) to the today's CN (2008 to now). the old CN actually put a lot of effort to keep us kids entertained (glad I was born during the 90's) and it worked! we loved the shows, shorts, and especially groovies! hearing 'Hey Johnny Bravo' or any Groovie just makes you jump and dance just like your favorite characters period. I wish was the song was a bit longer. thumbs up if you agree! I love seeing my favorite shows together and dancing bring tears to my eyes.

  • @Higesgirl You speak the truth.

Which is why I feel sorry for todays audience of cn.

My younger cousin who's about 6 now actually thinks todays cn is entertaining.

He missed out on the old days when cn was actually good.

Not sure about you or anyone else, but for me the killing blow to my desire to watch cn was when they got rid of toonami.

  • @nathanlurie I agree with you. my childhood was shattered when Toonami was gone...

  • @Higesgirl mine too..

  • @nathanlurie CN nowadays IS entertaining, only that before it was so epic beyond words that our standards nowadays are high.

  • @nathanlurie I was born in '96 and i still watch CN only because of Regular Show and Adventure Time. I think the biggest problem in todays cartoon network is that they try too hard to be "RANDOM!XDDDDDD" when in reality, that isn't funny. The old CN used to touch in different ways to please anyone watching the channel, like having music videos of barebones genres to get kids into all types of music. Today they just have terrible 12-16 year old actors overact and be the epitome of idiocy.

  • @nathanlurie You should check out Adventure Time or Regular Show. There are still some shows on CN worth watching.

  • @nathanlurie New CN is getting better with funny shows like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and MAD. It's not quite as good as it use to be, but its a great start in the right direction for CN :)

  • @Higesgirl compare? there is no comparison. old Cartoon Network took kids seriously as viewers (like KidsWB did). the new CN assumes we'd watch anything because kids are dumb. aka old CN was good, new CN sucks.

  • AHAHA Look AT TOWELY NEAR WEASEL

  • my favorite band and my favorite cartoon wow this is the most epic music video ever all the old cartoon cartoon ppl :D

  • Time Squad.

    Oh how I miss them.

  • I think that the original Ben 10 was a bit better than Alien Force and Ultimate Alien.

  • @2xucan Naw, Dude, what would happen takes that title, I absolutely hate that show with a burning passion. At least Ben 10's a cartoon, but DWWH is a total flop. Wrong network, man...

  • i always loved the johnny bravo shuffle could do it right though

  • lol towly at 0:00

  • I remember this

  • Seeing toons dance is an experience better than living.

  • I accidentally my childhood.

  • I miss all of these old GOOD cartoons interacting all together. No Ben 10, Chowder, Flapjack or CN real :)

  • @LemonOrangeCake I grew up on Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and all the old "good" CN shows, and I still enjoy Chowder and Flapjack, as well as Adventure Time and Regular Show. Nostalgia can be a good thing, but people very often take it too far.

  • @InsanityOnABun That's great for YOU but not me. I really don't care for those shows if you do then you go right on ahead and watch them. I like some new shows, Regular Show's pretty ok. Did I take my nostalgia too far? Whoops here keep it.

  • man ben 10 ultimate alien an generator x are the worst obominations of a show i`ve ever seen

  • You know this song is epic if Val Halen is headbanging to it. HEY JOHNNY BRAVO!

  • I feel like such a dumb kid for not realizing this was The Reverend Horton Heat back then.

  • the only think saving Cartoon network is they occasionally play Ed, Edd n Eddy, and courage the cowardly dog once in a while. and adventure time is pretty good.

  • Wow, I can name every single one of them in the audience. I have to say, growing up in the 90's was the best ever. Hands down.

  • Thank You So Much! I Love This Vid!

  • johnny bravo was one of my favourites back then...man good times, good times

  • Johnny bravo > Johnny test

  • @ELiizDa1 Actually, the day the misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom came out, I faked sick to play all day. I got stumped on a lvl so I took a cartoon break. At about 1pm or so, the was a 1 and a half block called Johnny and Johnny or something. They were both on opposite sides of a wall repeating, "He's got my name!" They showed Johnny Test and Johnny bravo back to back and it was a real treat ^^ I caught it mabye one more time and then never saw it again.

    TT-TT MISS YOU JOHNNY!

  • See, this is exactly why the old Cartoon Network was the best; their characters interacted with each other and the world. I remember the opening, when all of the characters were flying around and working at some studio in order to "start" Cartoon Cartoon Friday. They had different hosts, specials, and great shows. The honchos of Cartoon Network need to take a look back and get their shit together.

  • @LeoNerz

o ya man I miss those days...And I always got so exited for every friday and seeing that old logo with the black and white lettering =( fridays on cartoonnetwork got ruined right when they made that one white guy and that black chick hosting it.....not its just shit. We should get all the people together who missed the old days and to freckin have a riot right outside the CN studio, cause what they are doin now i sunacceptiable. And lets not forget Toonami also every satudray!

  • This music is great.........for its time not even the 90's i remember this, although i liked the cn city better but i hate the 2008cn but their getting better

  • I feel sorry for what kids have to grow up with these days I actually learned from these shows!

  • Cartoon Fridays... :'( how i miss them.

  • Hah, it's been too long, been so long that I forgot that bands used to actually MAKE music for CARTOON NETWORK... :( *Whirr*

  • see when cn had money they ould afford to make awesome stuff like dis but since the C in CN now stands for CRAPTOON they can't be as epic as they were b4

  • oh and did anyone else see towlie at the beginning?

  • all the dumb shit on cartoon network now is just retarded i remember watching johnny bravo ed edd n eddy (favorite) cartoon cartoon fridays Dexters lab looney toons i didnt really much care for power puff girls but it was decent not all this dumb shit where you build somthing then destroy it or answer questions on a rollercoaster thats just retarded last time i checked it was cartoon network the only thing i think is decent is chowder haha i just realised how much i just put thumbs up or down

  • Nostalgia!

Oh jeez, I remember this. Seriously good times man.

  • LOL Johnny's doing the Charlie Brown dance

  • I miss seeing the toons together partying like this or what not- it gave the feeling that a community of sorts existed- that the people behind Cartoon Network actually enjoyed their jobs....

  • good times

  • fuk Fuk FUk FUK i waidh i had a time machine to go back and see the best of cartoon network 1 more thing fuk flapjackass

  • omg Towlie?! what the hell is he doing on CCF? and memoriesoh the memories CFF we will miss you...

  • All who vote to form a riot to bring back our old t.v. stations say aye!

    *Aye!*

  • I remember seeing this video pemiere during the Cartoon Cartoon Summerfest.. Seriously if they brought back CCF with like Chowder, Flapjack, and Finn hosting (because they're the only shows that offer new episodes) I'd still tune in.. Har Har Tharsdays (Now on mondays!!.. cause that makes sense...) is total crap.. The ONLY good part of it is that the anouncer for it is Tom Kane, who voiced Prof. Utonium and Him from PPG.. But thats not enough to make me watch it.

  • Why can't Cartoon Network be like this again?

  • are you kidding? power puff girls z or x or watever is the most corny piece of shit cartoon network has ever disgraced this earth with! they need to realize that we don't want pathetic anime rip offs of CN classics! CN has gone to horse shit, HORSESHIT!!

  • i saw flapjack episode oh brother and i couldnt eat my lunch the next day

  • Ah, I miss this CartoonNetwork. Back when the cartoon's were great and entertaining and the network wasn't over run by this stupid reality crap.

    What happened CartoonNetwork?

  • aaaaaahhhhh....CN memories!!!

  • @ProwerlessThrone please say cartoonetwork instedd of CN... the good days are gone now...

  • @RobbanFoxer tyst med dig!

  • @jkgatling lol

    fan ... jahopp... hej?

  • I remember I used to wait all week till CCF would come on.

It was awesome when the toons hosted.

They could bring it back like this and include not just the stuff we grew up with but the two new shows that show any kind of potential like Chowder and FlapJack.

  • @ harmonyXsuzuaze i dont think flapjack has any potential

  • @Gman81dawgs It lost it's potential after the first few eps.

  • ya i still think flapjack sucks

  • i saw towlie within the first 5 sec.

  • Dang, I remember this when I was little the 'live' finalle's to Cartoon Cartoon Fridays... I miss those days when the Toons would host a night...

  • whats up with CN real , its called CARTOONnetwork for a reson

  • yea man......that's total BS, as the AVGN would say "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!"

  • I'm 13, I was a young child during the last part of the golden age of CN, BEFORE THEY CANCELED ALL THE AWEOSME SHOWS! My fav shows had to be, Dexter, and Johnny Bravo! For nickolodean: I liked catdog, and hey arnold.

  • how i miss cartoon cartoon fridays.

  • memories memories we must show the children of today great old rock song for johnny bravo

  • sick that they had rev horton heat on cartoon network

  • lol towel

  • this was the catchiest groovie on cartoon network.

  • who agrees with me that ben 10 alien force is the biggest crap cartoon network has to offer ?

  • @2xucan Yeah, that's a pretty awful show, but what's worse are the shows that aren't actually cartoons. One time I saw part of "Dude, What Would Happen" and it was about as retarded as something you'd see on MTV.

  • @2xucan You must haven't seen My Gym Partner's a Monkey.

  • @2xucan oh please stop your pathetic whining

  • @2xucan i agree

  • @2xucan Adventure Time. The only good show on that channel

  • @2xucan worse than my spy familiy and out of timmys head?

  • @2xucan yeah the movie is but the show is not

    btw opinion is NOT FACT

  • Comment removed

  • @chrisnike23 lol, CN is not remaking DBZ, they just air the episodes.

  • @2xucan Adventure TIme, Stoked, Robotomy, Regular Show.

  • @2xucan Eh, I think they've had bigger crap

  • @2xucan

Meh... That dude's cousin is kinda hot.

    XD

  • @2xucan Nope, actually it is "Hole in the wall"... not even a cartoon and people like it??

  • @Ouranhostclubfanatic PEPLE LIKE IT??????????????

  • @Klonoahedgehog I hope the hell not

  • Psychobilly meets Cartoon Network! I can die happy now.

  • omg! cartoon network fridays were the BEST! Way better than animation domination on fox these days.

  • Comment removed

  • Uhhh.. I don't see anyone in the top left, but the dude headbanging in the bottom left is Valhallen from the Dexter's Laboratory backup segment "The Justice Friends".

  • I think you may be referring to the guy from Time Squad...
