I have tried watching tutorials and reading web pages, but cant seem to get the hang of this. I installed Commview but it doesnt work. I tried alt drivers, and my card gets deactivated. How do you get Commview working with an Intel 3945 card on WinXp????/

I tried this, it works, but doesn't work - If that makes any sense.... ---- If you have more than 1 wireless router on the same channel it makes it difficult because you can't just search for that (ONE) router you want to hack...... and once you use aircrack-ng it says type in index number, and it gets confusing right from there...
Lacking important information. After searching for awhile i finally found out that it was "COMMview", in the video you do not pronounce it clear enough. Your descriptions are also very vague. Remake the video with subtitles PLEASE
Your collecting packets you don't need ! You only want to collect data packets not management or beacons, the 3 buttons next to the key symbol on the top of commview is the only one that you should have down. Also in options you can tell it to discard the broken packets (the red ones)
Also by using the rules (mac rules) you can specifiy just one particular network and if you use the node reassociation tool aloong with advanced rules you can get packets of the correct size (68-70) for 64 WEP

Also the button you click at the bottom all the way to the right at the 2:00 mark is not available with my version of commview. I only have three buttons on the bottom left tool bar. I torrented commview from google, but I feel as though I may have a different version. Can you give me some help. My graduate degree may depend on it!

I tried this, it works, but doesn't work - If that makes any sense.... ---- If you have more than 1 wireless router on the same channel it makes it difficult because you can't just search for that (ONE) router you want to hack...... and once you use aircrack-ng it says type in index number, and it gets confusing right from there...

Your collecting packets you don't need ! You only want to collect data packets not management or beacons, the 3 buttons next to the key symbol on the top of commview is the only one that you should have down. Also in options you can tell it to discard the broken packets (the red ones)
Also by using the rules (mac rules) you can specifiy just one particular network and if you use the node reassociation tool aloong with advanced rules you can get packets of the correct size (68-70) for 64 WEP

Fixed it.
Control Panel -> Performance information and tools -> Adjust Visual Effects -> Data Execution Prevention and add the Commview EXE to the list.

It's a completely valid question. Almost all PCs sold since 2007 came pre-packaged with Vista. Since upgrading can cost up to $200, it's not as easy as shutting the fuck up and getting a better OS.
