@darrenmcowan While the vocal styles are very similar and they are black metal I would say there is a very large difference. That kind of statement would likely come from someone new to both bands. You could say the same thing about a thousand different band from just as many genres.

Definitely the best purely black metal album from 2010. This song fucking slays. Dagon's voice is very cool. Very otherworldly. And of course, the album cover is so goddamn cool.

Inquisition, as well as Deathspell Omega really know how to utilize dissonance to near-perfection. Inquisition's newest has only reinforced the fact that they're one of the best BM bands I've come across.

@KillWH8 Very much agree. All black metall vocals are alike just like all death metal vocals are a like. No one ever mentions this. Don't get me wrong each vocalist sounds different but it's the same style. Then you take two bands that stand apart vocally like Immortal and Inquisition and everyone gets their troll dicks all hard.

Definitely one of the most quality bands in black metal today... totally transcendental. Some moments of this song remind me of Dark Mutilation Rites and the acoustic section definitely brings hints of The Initiation. Fucking awesome!
