In all fairness this park isn't all that great. It just looks aesthetically better at night with all the colourful lights. Looking closely there isn't much scenery or anything special. Just alot of paths in a grid style layout and randomly placed palm trees.

If this was recorded during the day I don't believe it would have gotten as much praise as it has done.

wow do u have to have a ton of RAM to get RCT3 to run in such a high quality? i'm running it on a windows xp machine and it's extremely slow even at low graphics settings. or do u just use vista?

He just used the ingame recorder. It takes ages for it to record things (it runs at varying fps, usually less than 3 fps...) but it gets the job done really well once its done recording. When I record, I just put everything on high quality, which I never do when I'm just playing, and then I start recording and go watch tv or something.

it was pretty good, I've seen better though. Can I make a suggestion? Your kinda just stuffing ur rides in all together. Spread your rides apart and more room for scenery. Also, create different terrain levels, and make your paths go up and down, creating bridge-like paths. Be sure to use LOTS of trees and plants when using this strategy though.

its a little faster and has more memory. like if you have a lot of senery or a lot of rides in the regular game it will start to slow down, but in platinum it won't. and the graphics are a little better. I have both and i prefer platinum

It's a small glitch in RCT. What edition do you have (Gold, Platinum, standard).

There are patches out there (you'll have to Google for them, 'cause I don't remember exactly where they are) that fix this "night time" problem.

What you can de is go to Atari's website. Click "Support", select "Patches & Updates", select "R", look for "RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Gold", select your OS (if you have Vista, the XP patch will also work), and download the patch.
