  • I remember reading the comments in this video before I started selling books onliine...The fear and supposed "knowledge" that these people had kept me from starting a successful online business that sells A LOT of books purchased from thrift stores. You need the newest technology to get the edge (if you don't have the book knowledge...and I don't). You can find out more by going to my youtube channel and getting the same free ebook that got me started selling on Amazon. Good luck!

  • I've got two tons of books come buy em but i want 75000

  • Ive heard of stories of people making a living selling books, but whenever I research sites, ebay, amazon, ect. ect. books seem to sell for next to nothing, so I wonder, how are they making a living? I dont get it . The math doesnt add up!

  • F*#ckin infomericial. I know how he is going to make money!!

  • all the books I have for sale are listed really low... some for .01 Do i make a $1 due to shipping cost being slightly lower than what amazon quotes it at... And now what about the Kindles and Nooks closing down book stores

Yard sales might sell books cheaper than GoodWill & Salvation Army which now just sells books at a % off the retail value...even the Salvation Army near me where all the books are kept in a moldy basement where you risk getting Asthma for it

  • boco da mo la tity tity boom boom!

  • i go to my local trifth store on a regular basis, and i make about 200-300 weekly. i have noticed less dealers.

  • gotta know what sells and that is found out by seeing what you have been able to sell. mistakes are part of learning.. kids don't read anymore, their books are often in new condition. Put an ad in the paper that you will pick up unwanted books free of charge... Mondays and Tuesdays are days there are lots of books from yard sales over the weekend...

  • Oh, I see your trying to sell or promote some site! I thought selling old books for $10 on ebay sounded fishy.

  • Maybe you have found truly exceptional thrift stores with really cheap prices. Ten years ago when Goodwill used to sell books ten for a buck I used to sell on half.com. I would buy about 200 books (the thrift store clerk would look at me like I was crazy) for 20 bucks, list them on half.com and have about 90-180 dollars in sales after 2 months, if I priced them competitively. Proby made an extra $1500 a year. I can't see this supporting anyone nowadays though. Thrift stores charge more.

  • I'm going to come your town and steal your full time income. Then what are you going to do? Think about it by you making this video and other ones you are killing your own business. Not that selling books is a big secret but it is not to smart to show and tell people how.

  • You just have to get lucky. Wouldn't rule it out, wouldn't bank on it either, just keep your eyes open and a scanner handy....

  • Yeah those thrift stores are real gold mines

  • this might work couple years ago but not now lol

  • whats the name of the thing that they were typing the ISBN into their cell phones?

  • Big Problem....Most of the Trift stores have BOOK SCANNERS and scan all the prices before they put them out on the shelf, pulling all the good ones....The only thing getting put on the shelves are the penny books....GOOD LUCK WITH THIS SOURCE, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT !!

  • @rkorsberg Exactly! The thrift stores like goodwill may have been slow to the table, but they're not totally stupid and have finally caught on. Local libraries no doubt will be scanning their books sooner or later. By all means, sell your books on amazon & ebay, just don't quit your dayjob yet! The best way though is to sell a course on quitting your dayjob by selling used books online, lol!

  • @rkorsberg I agree. However, I did find several CDs just two weeks ago at Goodwill that sold for >$5.00. But, most of the stuff at these stores is crap and selling things is just a hobby for me.

  • Anybody who quits their day job for Amazon Books needs their head examined. You don't make much on inexpensive books and expensive books are slow sellers. Too much pressure on this money making method. Economy is still too slow. Don't quit a job that pays regular unless you don't mind irregular meals.

  • This don't work. I try, I go to Goodwill and everything I buys was for 1 penny on amazon. I waste about 20 dollars on books and some shoes that look good but the laces broke cause they was too brittle. Now my shoes don't stay on my bedroom smells like cat pee cause them books/

  • @kz121500 I agree, I dont know how people are making money selling books for a penny on Amazon. People dont realize it, but they can ruin a market by being too competative.

  • Ive dried up all my local thrift stores and i make 200-300 bucks a month. You can make money but theres no way you can make a full time income. Too much competition and thrift stores have gotten too expensive.

  • Dude there are trees growing out your head.

Why are you letting out your secrect? Your rewened!

  • Yes! Tree branches growing out of his head. Great!
