Novak looking up to Federer is the FUNNIEST thing I've heard all day. Psh, yeah right he looks up to Federer. Novak "I-defeated-Roger-once-in-a-GS" Djokovic talked trash towards Roger, not to mention his family was also in on the act.
Would he have said the same if Nadal was thrown away in the French Open like it happened in Rome? I heard him in an interview when he said after praising nadal for winning in 2007:
"I guess I´ll have to wait for a chance that nadal is not in the final and try to win the French Open"
This is a disrespect to Novak,(who looks up at federer), as if Roger doesnt see him as a menace at all compared to nadal, even though their rankings are both over the 5000 or something, far away from the others.
with all due respect to you, I disagree. It is not a disrespect to novak, it is the truth. Someone else's loss does not make a true champions day any better.. As for Novak looking up to Roger?, well..Novak has proven himself to be disrepectful to Roger in the past...whereas Roger has been a gentlemen. I am sure Roger would have said the same thing regardless of the player.. He plays match by match, and rocuses on his game... not everyone elses.
You must be a serb or Novak's fan, and this fact blinds your objectiveness. Listen to me here, I am a very third party, so can be more or less just...Novak gets what he deserves...Federer's would-be neglect and disrespect (though in my opinion he never showed those things during this inverview) have the right to exist...me as a third party consider Novak's behaviour as too self-confident, too self-turned, too insolent...simply too cocky...federer and nadal gonna be always ahead unless he changes
Roger Federer is a terrific player. He's just so talented. No wonder he's the number 1. However, the problem with him is that he runs too much on the pitch (refering to his roland garos 08 final). Nadal was practically still on the pitch, while Roger was running here and there for the ball. Please please please Roger, start playing inteligently. Make your oponent run, and tire him out. And please do beat Nadal henceforth and do win wimbledon this year too and stay number 1 forever
Yeah of course he would not stay number 1 for his whole career. His age will of course cause him to lose his throne. But intelligent players end their career when they are still shining, and not when they are becoming worse day by day. And yeah, Roger should really start playing cunningly now. Then only will he be able to beat nadal everytime... I'm disappointed each time nadal beats Roger, especially in all those finals. I love Roger and want him to rule!!!
he always says you know.......too bad

Count the "you know".

LoL I know what you mean. But fortunately Fed's "you know" isn't annoying like when someone else says it.

True. I like to count it nonetheless.

Federer doesn't care about Novak as much as the media make all the fuss about it, he knows his main rival is Nadal.

It should be obvious the answer to the question :
"Would an early lose of Nadal in French Open make his day better?"
