  • The recoil is a bit harsh compared to full size 9mm, but I would recommend folks start a 5 yrads (15)ft and check you accuracy because this is a defense weapon versus target. I either use this or the pf9 as a CCW for concealment.

  • had one these. great lil ccw gun. Not a big fan of the 9mm round though. Wished they came back out with the .40 cal version.

  • @reesie0414

I fully support people caliber preferences but if you wouldn't mind answering what is it that you don't like about the 9mm? If it's the stereotypical "lack of knockdown power" I just think all those people are mistaken because even fmj is okay but with awesome quality hollow points like the t-series or hst it will be lethal in a heartbeat.

  • Don't Shoot at Hard Surfaces (Including Water).

Hard surfaces like metal, rocks, and hard wood can do this too - and they can even send the projectile back to the shooter, which can be hard on a feller, because shooting oneself, even indirectly, can be a pretty nasty experience. this is from about.com top ten safety rules for shooting. rocks are not smart targets, try paper, or pop cans.

  • How is the accuracy of this gun compared to a full size 9mm pistol?

  • @andrewvanrhoberts Not too too bad, I've hit things at 25 ft but it's is nothing compared to like a Beretta 92 fs. It's mainly a conceal carry gun, it's a whip it out and fire gun, not a take careful aim and boom, blow that guy away gun. :)

  • ever shot winchester t series 127 grain +p+? those are my e.d.c. rounds and they are the HOTTEST rounds i've found imo they pack a bigger punch than corbons or gold dots or hydra shoks or silver tips and they expand beautifully EVERY SINGLE time with the patented talon bullet

  • @tubevideoguy762 Na I've only shot Winchester regular stuff, but those rd.s sound cool!

  • love this weapon a true pocket full of firepower

  • whats with the cup and saucer handgrip? look up on here how to hold a pistol the right way and your placement with be much better

  • how is the recoil on this thing ? :D

  • @RoyalAlba1 not bad but a little snappy, the main thing is it's a very close range gun.

  • just as a safety tip dont walk with you find inside the trigger guard

  • it's called a magazine, not a clip

  • nice video. kel tec looks nice

  • Cup And Saucer is one of the worst ways to hold a pistol, see how when you shoot your gun flips up and left? place both thumbs along the left side of the slide, this will stablize it better :)

  • dude you put your hand in front of the barrel twice not cool!

  • I don't see me sticking my hand in front on the gun. My fingers maybe....and that is before I rack a round in.

  • @gogdee It looked like you put your hand in front of the barrel twice. How many people get shot each year because there wasen't a round chambered? I watched a guy shoot himself through the hand with a .40 caliber pistol "before he chambered a round". You might consider getting some professional training. I recommend that to anyone with a firearm.

  • double action only guns are safe until you pull the trigger

  • were you compensating to the right...seems the pistol naturally jerks left when you shoot.

You handle that little gun pretty good for a dude with big hands. I have trouble shooting those little guns with my bear paws.

  • I noticed the same thing and did compensate accordingly. Yes, I have huge hands. But the grip extender helps exceedingly.

  • Right on brother! I use Winchesters too!!!

  • i own one of these. GREAT gun.

it just doesnt like cheap ammo..

iv fed a box of 100 winchesters through mine, with 0 misfires..

tried with some cheap wolf 9mm and jammed on the 3rd shot..

    great AMERICAN MADE pistol.

  • "the s&w 30 round mag fits as well as kel tec's mag for their 9mm rifle will fit and is cheaper"

Ummm forgive me but I can't understand what you are trying to say here. Could you explain further. Thanks!!!

  • Do both 30 rnd mags fit without modification?

  • "I don't know if this guy PM'd you, but the smith & wesson type 59, or 5900 magazines are a direct swap for kel tek p11's, although some people complain about how well they work (feeding, or releasing from the gun). They come in several capacities even 30 rounds" Someone else left this comment. I thought it might be useful to you.

  • I don't know if this guy PM'd you, but the smith & wesson type 59, or 5900 magazines are a direct swap for kel tek p11's, although some people complain about how well they work (feeding, or releasing from the gun). They come in several capacities even 30 rounds

  • Really? Cool!

  • i took a piece of sand paper 220 grit wrapped it over the top of the empty magazine pushed the release button to prevent sanding the magazine catch and inserted and removed the mag 20-30 times the mag falls right out like it should there is a burr on the inside you must sand down to get your mag to easily spring out, the s&w 30 round mag fits as well as kel tec's mag for their 9mm rifle will fit and is cheaper

  • Yes, it is, I have noticed a few things though. On some P-11s the clip does not drop out fast like it should when the release button is pushed. Also it does have a rather long trigger pull. And lastly because the gun is made of stamped pieces, some of the guns have a few rough edges, but a razor blade or a file takes care of it easily. Overall it is really a good gun! (Will)

  • "On some P-11s the clip does not drop out fast"

Just a pet peeve....It is called a magazine, not a clip.

Anyway, I have this gun and LOVE it, however when I got it new It would not even rack in 124gr Speer Gold Dot HPs. I shot a couple boxes of range ammo 115gr FMJs (btw no problems shooting em) and then sanded the feed ramp with 400 grip wet/dry sandpaper and polished with dremel.

  • It has not jammed once. Not my p-ll or my dad's or my brother or his brother-in-law or his father. We all own one each. It is easily concealed and doesn't weigh much. I suppose it would work well for home defense, I mean I wear mine in my pocket around the house all the time. But I would, if I could go get my 12 gauge shotgun instead. Just for more stopping power though, nothing else.

    Will(I posted the movie)

  • My father has one of these, it's a great pistol. small and reliable

  • how reliable?

do you recommend it for cocealed carry?

    what about home defense?
