@KalmaHell Two examples? Porcupine Tree by itself is an ocean of awesomeness. But one would credit that to the entire band. Blackfield is mostly Steven Wilson. Therefore, yeah, "Absolutely ANYTHING that is associated with Steven Wilson is incredibly amazing!!!!!!!"
@TheStigsIndianCousin Well, I'm afraid that Blackfield is even more Aviv Geffen than Steven Wilson. Let's look at their concert album - 5 songs by Wilson, 8 by Geffen, 4 collaboration (only looking at the music, not lyrics).

Second, Steven Wilson's solo stuff is also incredible, atleast to my (a dedicated fanboy) ear's.
I'm harping on this point because I feel he doesn't get enough recognition, despite some of his recent stuff (deadwing, in absentia) being MORE accessible.
I'm glad Steven Wilson is not commercially well recognized... It keeps him in control of his own music, instead of selling out to a company that mugs every talent, they can get their dirty little hands on, for money.
@arquende I think many bands are in control of their own music and have quite a strong creative voice when it comes to doing what they want. Tool is a perfect example- Maynard does not collaborate with corporate music terrorists!
