i think the kings of leon ruined themselves. fair enough they wanted to chase the money when they brought out that album but went down hill in my opinion. the album im referring to is only by the night. terrible album. this song though is OUTSTANDING.

@rossF187 Only by the Night had amazing songs in my opinion. Use Somebody is amazing, but the radio ruined it. I would have to agree that Sex On Fire is not their best work and way out of their normal sound. But songs like Closer, Manhattan, Revelry, I Want You, AND Cold Desert are all amazing. But people overlook them cause they're on the same album as Sex On Fire, which is very unfortunate.

I think that was cos KoL had been at just about every festival in Europe that year playing exactly the same set, and people had had enough. I still love 'em, but overexposure killed them last year. They need to have a break and regroup.

@1saltana I was there, he was bitching about everyone just wanting to hear sex on fire. So they decide to play pretty much their entire 4th album! all the old stuff they played just seemed to drag.. They played slower and with no enthusiasm or energy. Saying that, I saw them the december before that and they were awesome, played the best songs they new the fans wanted to hear (Razz, Milk etc ). Hoping they can come back with a killer 5th album, cause the 4th was dissapointing.
