@paprna And if you're talking about the announcer, that's because VIA Rail is a federal service, thus they must give service in both of Canada's languages, including the announces. In Québec city, less than 4% of the population, speaks only English, yet, at the train station, they make announces in both languages (though they make the french announce first)

Because they might be French or French Canadians. This train sees people travel on it from all over the world.

@paprna Because there are other language than Enbglish in the world. And Canada has TWO oficial languages, French and English
