hey djmedic i'm planning on getting a e10 drift car by hpi. was wondering if any of you run a hpi e10 and use the hpi drift assist and then do a vid on how well it works do know weather or not i should get it. big fan of the vid's keep up the good work.

@death0knight0 Recommend not using a D-box..just practise in a clear open area, smooth ground ( smooth concrete is great)...especially if you are going to start counter-steering...

@adamcowie2000 , no not at all , the receiver you use now would work fine. you just need to match the esc to ur motor is all; brushless esc to handle a brushless motor.

Medic I picked up some yellow 8 inch picnic plates from the dollar store they don't get knocked over and do the same job, you can actually run them over with knocking them over :)

Yo Medic, use paper plates or something flat as markers. If you hit it , it still stay flat.

Try styrofoam plates, paint them if need be spend more time drifting, less time worrying about cups l.

DUDE i got it i raced rc for a while but i think i got a good idea for you, try setting up your cups so there in a line or in a big circle or how ever you would like it and chase each other going around the cups idk why but call me dumb for saying it but playing drifting games helped me out a lot if i was following someone. (even if it was a computer) good luck and im exited in buying an scx-10 it will be my first crawler

Looks like your doing alright medic! I noticed that it looks like your letting off the throttle by the looks of it and the car spins, if you hold the throttle on a little and counter steer it will stop it from spinning out. Just make sure you give it enough throttle or it will snap around the other way. Most importantly HAVE FUN! :)

i dont know if they make slippyer tires but..when i started dirfting in gt5 i would get the slippyest tires i could and dirft on them for a while then after i got use to the slippyes i got the not so slippy tires.and nailed it..could try that..yes i know this aint gt5 but..it could work..

Hey Medic love you work , Try dabbing the throttle like your shooting a gun . Slower to slow drift and faster repititions for fast drifting .

a little tip for you : if you filled the cups up with small rocks then covered the tops the wouldnt fall over every time u touch them.
