well, there are probably some decent ones in some retail stores. you just have to look around more. if you can't find one, then it's not the end of the world. i'm sure you'll chance upon a good one in the future.

i bought the 6'' suitcase armor figure from the movie and he was so screwed up

he had two left hands and the paint apps on his face were just like the abs on the figure you saw.

its like iron man jerked his head to the left when they painted him

That actually looks nicer than I thought it would. I think the problem with the 6" Mark V and its paint application is due to the sheer amount of detail on the sculpt. Just too many plates, nooks, and crannies with alternating colors to a get a perfectly painted fig. But yeah, misaligned paint is the worst kind.

If I had to settle for a badly painted Mark V Evo, I'd hope for one with gold overspray, as black is easy to color match, LOL! :) Thanks for the peek! :)

I picked up one of the original 6 inch Mark V figures that had two left arms. The entire left arm, from the shoulder down. I don't know how I missed that when I bought it.

yeah, i like the concept of the repaint, but execution wise, the figure is lacking

It is what it is. These thing are all made in China with a thousand people putting these together for hours on in. Can't blame them for not going over every detail to make them perfect.

i used to work for a manufacturing plant over here. the manufacturing guys are not the ones who inspect the quality of the work. there is a separate department that handles quality control. yes. we can blame them for stuff like these, because we are the customers. we're paying good money for supposedly good products. a quality assurance professor of mine once said, there are no unreasonable customers, only lazy companies.

Yeah. I got a Energon Ravage with two left arms. (sarcasim) Go Hasbro! (/sarcasim) I've gotten a lot of TF's with messed up things. I thought about starting a collection of Hasbro's mess ups.
