I thought that Wallander was pronounced with the stress on the first syllable, and liked it that way, but I saw that the Swedish barwoman said Wallánder.
I love that character so much. He does seem to be alive.
Apart from an unacceptable detail that I found on one of his books, he seems like a magnificent flawed hero.
I like Mankell's Wallander novels better than any other crime novels. I am a struggling writer and I agree with Mankell. Even here in YouTube, we want as many views as possible
