I love your tutorials!!! I'm 13 and I love crocheting and making things and by watching your videos I was able to create a cute beanie with a flower embelishment!!!
Thank you so much for posting this!! It was very helpful!! I haven't touched my crochet needles in years but I was able to follow this video and made a beautiful flower for a headband!! I'm very impressed!
@MultiT12345678 This tutorial is for those with an understanding of the basic stitches. If you are interested, I have a beginner playlist that I can send to you so you can learn the basic stitches. Otherwise there is pause and rewind.
Thank you so much, I enjoyed watching every minute of your videos. Your tutorial is really a big help in making my Holiday gifts for friends and family these holiday seasons. May you receive all the blessings for sharing your talent and creativity. Have a wonderful holiday to you and your family!
Thanks so much! Your tutorials are so helpful! It seems that once I see it done, then I am able to decipher a written pattern well enough to make it. I really appreciate that you go slowly, too - I can almost keep up without having to pause. :)
This is such a great video, I've been teaching myself to crochet the last couple of weeks and love the flower on hats and headbands...thanks for your help!
Made a cloche for myself accented with your flower. Gave it to my granddaughter. My daughter loved it and wants me to make her one (or 2 or 3). She borrowed it from my granddaughter and wore it to work today. She received many compliments. Sent me a text asking if I would take orders and what would it cost. I'm still smiling as I type this.
Thank you so much for this easy to understand tutorial. I want to make a chain loop to the flower ends and then do 10 long strands I think with single crochet and attach to the loop so you can wear as a scarf, can you show how to make this without having to tie the 10 strands to the loop attaching to the flower.
All summer long I learned how to crochet flower and headband thru your demo. You are the best. Excellent demo!!!!! I made a dozen of headband with flower - thanks to you. Now I am very interested to crochet a pillow (round) that looks like a rose and usually has a button in the middle. Do you have any pillow demo that look like a flower?
OMG I LOVE YOU! I made a bonnet, baby booties, mittens, a dress, and headband set for my newborn cousin with the same flower on each and they look beautiful! Thank you very much!
We made this flower flower last night. Very easy and your videos are great. Thanks for all your help! Putting the flower on a hat I crochet for my 9 month old granddaughter.
I am learning so much from watching your videos! I'm going to post some of my hats I've completed onto you Facebook page. This is the project I'm trying tonight! Thank you again!
Thanks so much for these videos!!! :D I Am making a birthday gift for my mom :) I used these flowers to put on top of the slipper socks that I got off your page and they look great! and I have not done much crochetting! your a great teacher!
I am finishing up a knit scarf that will have some ribbons running through it. I am thinking these crochet flowers will look a lot cuter to hold down the ribbons than buttons .. thanks so much for the fantastic instructions!
@tpoole69 I am glad that you got it. Thank you for mentioning the ease of replay, which is a very useful tool for beginners and anyone who may need to see a part over again.

Hi Theresa! I watched the whole video first and thought, "I should give it a shot" but you make it look so easy lol! At the beginning I can only end up with 4 chain three spaces, not 5. I have done 10 sc into the center and am skipping only one stitch each time I make a chain three. Any idea on what I might be doing wrong? I'm using a size "i" crochet hook and medium weight worsted 4 ply yarn. Thanks :)
@theElegantCriminal Since you have 10 single crochet, it sounds like you are skipping to many single crochet. Keep practicing and focus on getting 5 chain loops even if you have to put them right next to the previous stitch. That way you can move on. The beginning does not have to be exact or perfect with the single crochet.

I just searched for how to crochet a flower, and found your channel. Your video is SO detailed and it helps so much! I subscribed to see more! Thank you!
You have taught me so much I am a beginner but fast learner and I am now making hats, blankets, and scarfs on my first month of learning. I got a Youtube account just to subscribe to you! I do not know how to read patterns and you make everything fun, easy and quick to learn especially for a lefty. Thank you so much!!!

Teresa, thank you very much for this tutorial. The other day I was so discouraged because I couldn't understand how to crochet by following instructions from books that I got, but this was so clearly explained and I actually made my very first crochet flower!! it didnt turn out perfect but it looks pretty :) Seriously I thought I had no talent for this, but now I realize that I can do it :) Thanks again!!
Teresa, I just want to let you know that I was able to make all of my friends the cutest flower headbands for Christmas this year using their school colors because of this video. Thank you so much for all of your videos! I find them so extremely helpful. Happy New Year! :)

Thank you so much so far this is the most effective and really well instructed video I have ever seen thank you so much for also helping my crocheting come alive thus for sure will make people love my stuff more and acually buy some of the scarfs and hats I make thank you so much
My mom taught me how to chain when I was little. She would tell me to make it at least as long as our sofa and then she would make hair bows out of them. That was all I had ever done until 3 or 4 days ago, when, using another one of your videos, I learned to crochet a granny square. Now I have made my first flower, too! It is not perfect, but I am still very proud of myself. Thank You for your videos, they are very easy to follow. I watch you do it and pause and repeat it myself. Thanks So Much!
Hi>>>i really loved the way u demonstrate each steps so clearly.I had learnt the basics of crochet from ma mom-in-law......I was looking something like this for a long time n I think ma search ends here. Thank you very much for ur videos. Please continue helping us in crochet. If I send u a crochet pattern...can u demonstrate it through a video for me...thanks once again.
Ahhh! You madam are THE best!!! This was an awesome tutorial as are most of your videos. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos for us. =) Appreciate it. Happy holidays!!! ^____^
I really like your videos they are extremely helpful. Im just starting out and I pause the videos when I need to, finish the step, then unpause its great! I really couldnt pick up how read patterns and I would get confused I love being able to see what I am supposed to do and then do it!
Thank you so so much! You are awesome. I picked up a crochet hook for the first time last night and practiced with your single, double and slip stitch links before trying the flower. I got though the video in less than an hour (had to pause a few times:-) and now can do it by memory! I am so excited, the flower turned out great!!! Yay. Thanks again, Can't wait to try your other patterns!
This video wasn't any help. You are going so fast that I miss what is going on. And I don't understand how these people say that it's easy to follow your instructions when my friends and I can't even keep up. Well the only way we understand is if we pause every five seconds. Is that what we are supposed to do? We are not experts.
@dancer7rock If you have never crocheted before, this is not a video that I would recommend that you start on. I suggest that you become familiar with the basic crochet stitches first. You can pause the video if that is something that works for you. I do understand that you are not experts. You may not realize that there can be 2-3 weeks or more that goes in to making a 23 minute video.
Your videos are amazing! I have learned so much by watching , as a mother of three it is great having something just me and it can benifit the whole family , thanks for sharing your gift with us

Teresa, thanks so much for posting this tutorial. Even with my very basic skills, I can see very clearly what you are doing and understand. Very well done tutorial. Those are cute! I'm thinking of making crochet flower pins & barrettes for our church's crafts sale at our fall festival. I'm hoping those will sell well for our fund raiser. Tks again! :-)
Thanks Teresa for this video.....I made this flower for the first time with no problem at all...it was very easy. I'm making my daughter (age 2) a black and white hat trimmed in hot pink with a hot pink flower. I got the idea from a previous video you showed on what your viewers been making. I had been looking all over trying to find a pattern/video and I should have known to look on your page first!! :)
@tashamont Thank you. The hat sound really pretty! Please share a picture on my Facebook page when you are finished. You are welcome to include your daughter in the picture if you would like.
@tjw1963 I sure will and I know she will most likely be in the picture b/c she love to model the things I make for her LOL....so be looking out for it.
Thanks for this tutorial. I will be busy making these on my 2 hour Ferry trip to calais tomorrow. I like both the patterns. espy the 11Dc one. thanks again.
This is my first time watching you, and this is the exact flower I wanted to learn I will check out your other videos Thank you so much for such clear, simple instructions I need the visual so you have made me very happy by combining them both Does this count as an online course? Thanks a lot for making these tutorials! As a left-handed beginner, it is way, way easier to learn from watching these videos than from written instructions, or that whole nonsense about holding the mirror to the diagrams. Can't wait for more!

@jessalejandrita I am thrilled that it turned out for you on the first shot! Written instructions can be very confusing.

I really like your videos they are extremely helpful. Im just starting out and I pause the videos when I need to, finish the step, then unpause its great! I really couldnt pick up how read patterns and I would get confused I love being able to see what I am supposed to do and then do it!
andreahurt87 1 year ago
I pressed pause and went back about a million times - but it was certainly easy to follow and I ended up with an adorable flower! Thank you!
HEusanio 1 year ago

We are not experts.
dancer7rock 1 year ago
@dancer7rock If you have never crocheted before, this is not a video that I would recommend that you start on. I suggest that you become familiar with the basic crochet stitches first. You can pause the video if that is something that works for you. I do understand that you are not experts. You may not realize that there can be 2-3 weeks or more that goes in to making a 23 minute video.
