@uuukkjj The core is one of the most important set of muscles, because they help you to keep your body in balance for example. If you got strong abs and a strong lower back then you will see that lifting heavier weights becomes easier. A lot of strenght comes from the core. Besides, ab exercises aren't made to get visible abs as you might know. Nutrition and losing weight is how you get 6 pack abs. And last, if you got a huge chest, you don't stop pumping.
Hi Jerome. Do you saw Pavel Tsatsouline, beyond crunches dvd ? There is a crunch exercise in his dvd, but you need a partner to do it or a device that he named pavelizer. If you know what i am talking about, my question is if you have any idea how to do the exercise without a partner or the pavelizer device?
@binfile My head is just in a neutral position. Some might prefer to keep their heads straight in line with the rest of the body and look at the ceiling, I prefer to look in front of me, since that's where the stopwatch was. As I said before, there is no stress on my neck or spine, so it's not a problem.
So basicly it's not doing any good, but nothing bad either.
@jlvi13 Yeah, it is bad for your posture, but as long as you keep your neck stress free it is safe. Do you perform plank exercises for abs? What do you think about them?
Thank you so much. I've been wanting to do some new abdominals exercises, and you posted this just in time. You've taught me a lot. You are, by far, the most helpful person when it comes to nutrition and exercising. Keep up the good work.
Cool, I think that is a very interesting workout. I also noticed before that is sometimes a lot more difficult to do some excercices slowly (pushups). I read that TUT (Time under Tension) is very important to reach good muscles, there stands that the muscle should be 40 seconds under tension in one set. What do you think about this? Is it too long?
Thank you for making again an amazing video and I will try this routine.
@MessiEika 40 seconds per set is not that long I think. If you do 8-12 repetitions (which you will use for bodybuilding and such) you will easily reach that amount I think, although it's not all tention of course. The beginning phase of the exercises are usually in rest.
Jerome, what are the benifits of doing ab workouts when you already have a visible set of abs???????

@uuukkjj You simply have to keep working out your muscles to keep them that way.

You are damaging your neck, Jerome.

@binfile What are you talking about, there's zero force on my neck.

@jlvi13 That forward/backwards movement that you do with your neck is not doing any good, try to keep the neck in straight line with your chest.
Aside from the neck thing, good video!

@binfile Never been a big fan of that exercise. Takes to long and it's uncomfortable. Overal the plank is a pretty decent exercise though!
