  • I make peanut brittle a LOT. The difference between OK brittle and over the top delicious is the amount of carmelization in the mix which is directly related to the temperature before spreading. I use a candy thermometer and shoot for just less than hard crack. This is why I do it on stove top. Do not over stir. Also, add a little vanilla for added taste.

  • whats corn syrup ? i dont think we have that in england? is it like golden syrup ?

  • @yankee5456 Golden syrup would sub just fine.

  • I don't get why they just don't say how much while they are dumping it into the pan. Yeah, I can go the the website. But how hard is it to just say? Makes me crazy. The wattage on the microwave makes a difference in cooking times, so be careful with that.........ask me how I know (LOL) boiled over once, when I pulled the hot mixture of the floor with a spatula, the tile came with it.

  • @anjlofmrc The recipe is right here on YouTube… in written form just below the video. We tried to say the amounts of everything in the videos - and people complained because it 'went by too fast' or they complained because 'it made the video too long'. So the compromise is to write out the recipe and ingredients below the video where you can easily cut and paste to a word document on your own computer.

I would think that's easier than trying to write it down while you watch?

  • Ingredients:

    2 cups peanuts

    • 1 1/2 cup sugar

    • 1/2 cup corn syrup

    • 1/2 cup water

    • 1 tsp butter

    • 1 tsp baking soda

  • OMG thank you soo much!!! I <3 peanut brittle!!!! :D

  • the girl doesnt say how much of anything!! wtf! lol

  • @Paigey41 On screen she mentions a couple of times where you can find the recipe - our website & in the info section below the recipe. I hope you'll try it!

  • @Paigey41 LOL I NO RITE

  • Hi, how much water and sugar did you use? can i use white karo instead of corn syrup? how long did you leave it in the microwave? thanks!
