  • Jerry might be a knob but at least he's trying.

  • l love jackson&Aaron

  • Jackson's dad is just pathetic, need to accept once and for all that his son is GAY. parents these days wont just accept reality, and just want to make it work their way, like seriously is not qonna happen.

  • LMAO! I'm just picturing paraplegic cats on skateboards!!

  • @DistantCousin Pearl is awesome!

  • Jerry/Gerry and the Pacemakers? Heh.

  • Pearl is such a good relief. This entire show is so good. I CAN'T EVEN TAKE IT.

  • Jackson is hooooottttt !

  • Some of you doubt Declan here. I've been watching the full episodes lately, &I did not feel any indication that he is scamming them or that his offer will come back to haunt them. He might have been shady in the past, but I believe (based on what I've seen of him) that he's doing it out of the goodness of his heart. I mean, Jackson did help him out with the renovations - they're friends. And seeing Jackson move to a wheelchair gives me less hope for recovery :-( here's hoping i'm wrong!

  • Jackson's lads haven't even been to see him. They should have made an episode with that they did know him longer than everyone in the Village. All is going well though

  • Anyone else here who was reminded of this story when you heard/read about the accident on "Wetten, dass"? The poor guy will probably stay paralysed now, and of course in his case, nobody gets to say "cut!" at the end of the day. Terrible thing to watch...

  • "Fizzy carpet at 'ome"... wtf?

  • @bigtop999 That's 'fitted carpet', not 'fizzy' carpet!

  • This was an enjoyable episode. However, one wonders just how long Aaron is going to stay away. Will Jackson EVER get any feelings in his lower body? Will he be written out of the show when his contract expires this spring? Watching these last few episodes it makes me think that the writers have no clue what to do with Jackson since they put him on the tracks and basically curtailed his romance with Aaron.

  • @bigdancd To be frank I think the late Gavin Blyth made 2 disastrous decisions - one was to make Jacksn's accident so devestating and the second I probably can't talk abt as it doesn't happen till January & would be regarded as a spoiler. Enough to say there r quite enough tragedies in real life & if a new series producer is appointed soon, I hope it won't be too late to modify the scripts & perhaps even scrap one of them

  • @AlanRM1000 Interesting points. :-)

  • Such a good episode. declan seems especially nice. it is wonderful for him to make the offer. also Marc acting is so nuanced and intense atthe same time that you really feel for him.

  • What this storyline needs is to bring a faith healer into the picture. Someone in the town discovering they have the ability to heal(Jackson) through the laying-on-of-hands, The other good option is to make Andi bisexual and show this thru him having an affair with another man(Aaron). Otherwise the gay romance tnat it seemed to promise is gone, gone, gone!

Jackson's ruddy outdoorsy complexion makes him look like a man who's quite active. It goes against what it should be given his situration.

  • @michaelmartel NO disrespect intende, but faith healing is a bit contentious - there are people who just wouldn't believe in it & I suspect J would be sceptical.

What they could do though, is to bring in a brilliant neurosurgeon. Such men & women exist- they do some marvelous work in Birmingham repairing the seriously injured soldiers hurt in Afghanistan.

I cant believe - @ least I hope, that a hospital would give up quite so completely on a 22 year old man as they seem to have done with J

  • @michaelmartel I don't think there has ever been any suggestion that Andy has bisexual feelings. He certainly has anger management issues, and as Aaron does as well, I would imagine that would be a very explosive, not to say dangerous, relationship!

I think if they are going to make a current cast member bisexual it would be more believeable if it were Adam. Andy doesn't even seem to be a particular friend of Aarons

  • @AlanRM1000 Who is Andy?

  • @zanthus7 Andy works on the Barton Farm, and Jackson moved into his home when he left Smithy Cottage.

  • @AlanRM1000 OK. Thanks.

  • (there isn't a transmission tomorrow 8/12) just to say how sad last nights episode was. J pretending to be lighthearted when you know he is breaking up inside. Then his parents arguing over him in front of him as if he were a possession or a pet dog. What a great actor Marc is. You feel as if you are trapped in J's body the way he acts the role, whereas Holly & her drug addiction seems AmDram stuff.

But J must ask himself - is the price he is paying for Aaron worth it?

  • @AlanRM1000 there's no show on wednesday? how come?

  • @beautifullion69 Coronation Street is emoting. It is 50 years old this week and so they are "celebrating" with several deaths, including a murder. As a mark of respect ITV is celebrating this tour-de-overacting with extra episodes and quite long episodes one "live" which sounds a bit of an oxymoron, given the body count! :-)

  • @AlanRM1000 Can I just tell UK viewers that if they are watching C.S. & they can't wait to know who died, the Xmas Radio Times is out today with full cast lists printed so by a process of elimination you can c who survives and who didn't. Three accident deaths & 1 looks like murder , but with their lighting cameraman it always does - all the victims of a terrible plot............stilted dialogue, and sub-standard direction :-)

  • @AlanRM1000 Yep, and haven't they done the same thing with the Emmerdale fire?! Idiots!!

  • @AlanRM1000 hahahaha I love your wordsmithing.

  • That was really nice of Declan! Wow even typing it son't seem right. Anyways this is getting a little bit depressing.

  • I DEDICATE THIS TO SONG JACKSON: "I hope/Life treats you kind/ And I hope/ you have all you've dreamed of./ And I wish to you joy/ And happiness./ But above all this/ I wish you LOVE." /// Would someone please make a fanvid of this? / Quickly!

  • @Mighthore It''s from the Dolly Parton or Whitney Houston's version (which ever you like) of I will always love you.

  • thats amazing!!! yes!!!

  • i cant help but think of stephen hawking when i see him in the wheelchair

  • If there is a baby Jesus, then I'm praying for a Christmas Miracle with Jackson starting to get movement back in his legs.

  • @ryankeller LOL!

  • Over the years, we have had wealthy property owners donate smaller properties to families with disabled folks for token rent. Not sure how the tax laws are in the UK but here in the US, it is a pretty good deal all around. Declan may be shopping for some good Karma or he may just care about Jackson and Hazel. Whatever the reason, Hazel can tell Jerry to bugger off and Jackson gets to come home.

  • "...things will get better...how can it be when [I'll] always be like this." / J sounds almost .. it's frightening to think, I mean, oh no, do not go there (!)

  • @Mighthore Yeah... he is trying to hide how he is really feeling to not worry/to spare his parents. But we can see the look on his face, I'm worried for him...

  • @samanthapetrelli / He was blatant about not wanting to live with (& that's not sparing either parent), so why would he hide his feelings now? / Funny that the only person he refuses to see is the only one who will understand.

  • @Mighthore I was taking a similar feeling about his emotional state. Depression and dark emotional thoughts are common responses in this type of a situation. And he is pushing away the person who would understand.

  • @JESSJUSTJESS / now i'm depressed.

  • @Mighthore Yes but what the nurse might have said to Jackson when he said it will always be like this was , "yes, but you won't always FEEL like this." Be of cheer. While depression is a natural response to his situation so is working through those emotions and difficulties.

  • Comment removed

  • @JESSJUSTJESS I'm not sure this is true. Aaron does understand his need to be treated like a grown man and delivers on that. But Aaron isn't very good at supporting 'depression and dark emotional thoughts'. Yes, he has a wealth of experience of them himself but that doesn't make someone any good at helping someone else. Because Aaron hasn't worked through his emotions, he's just experienced them. That showed when he was around J after the op. Aaron couldn't empathise with J, sparking the row

  • @patroclus33 In fact, Aaron is typically quite hapless in the face of other people's feelings or dismissive of them. He is immersed in his own and doesn't have much attention for others. His way of approaching other people in distress is generally to assume he's at fault and to apologise to them. It would be interesting to see if he can develop to a point where he can really be with Jackson's despair but he's not there yet. Remember his eye-rolling when J was angry after the operation?

  • @patroclus33 It is a lot to expect an 18 year old to be entirely understanding of such deep feelings of loss & despair, that said, Aaron is a typical only child in that he has never had the chance to share life with others on an everyday basis. He tends to gloss over other peoples distress& ignore it. I really don't feel he yet has the maturity 2 be Jackson's carer or a good listener. Contrast the way Adam comforts Hannah in little ways, when Holly goes off on one - could Aaron do that?

  • @Mighthore I don't know, J is always think about other people, he doesn't want make Hazel sad. We always see her joking and he just goes along with it. I always remember some lines of J like "they've been throw enough" and today's "don't tell them I was like this".

About the "living with", yes, he is depressed but it doesn't mean he became a push over, he can still think by himself.

  • @samanthapetrelli / that's much better / thanks

  • did you know i was a ho-mo-phobe, lol, jackson was funny in the beginning too, i wonder where their going with this storyline, i imagine things are gonna move quite slowly for the time being but i still wonder what this christmas miracle is gonna be about

  • Just think ... Aaron can help Jackson carry wood again on his lunch breaks.

  • @Mighthore Is that an euphemism?

  • @minamoto84 / ;)

  • can not wait till tomarow episode x )

  • ooo, i spotted a mistake in the video. If you look at jacksons hands @ 0:43 to 0:50 , they start by laying normally on his knees, then they are curled then the are normal again resting on his knees. Tisk tisk

  • Can anyone tell me what Jackson says around the 3:50 mark?

    Thanks!

  • @gclover916 I think he says: yes, but I'm living with mom.

  • @samanthapetrelli You're right. That's exactly what he says, not what gclover916 says

  • @gclover916 he says 'Yes, but only for my mum'

  • I don't trust Declan. I think he's up to something....

  • I hope he gets better soon! :(

  • omg omg he can not move in there next to aarons work r u kidding me hes going to feel awfull poor jackson and Declans awesome to offer but if i was him id get away from the things that remind me of what used to be including aaron can u imagine jackson looking out his window at aaron working on cars and not being able to hold him or just resenting him for everything just awfull i hope they dont move in there

  • LOVE the wink at 1:24

  • Really good episode.Jackson i just love his humor i am glad he never lost that part of him.Pearl omg she so funny talking about quadrapalegic cats i couldn't stop laughing.I know Jerry done bad things to Jackson but come on give him a chance his trying his best to be a better dad .Declan is being so nice telling Hazel to move to the house Jackson remodeled couple months ago so sweet of him.My poor Jackson i feel so bad for him he is so sad like his giving on his life such a broken man.

  • @cathy1725 Besides doing bad things in the past, Jerry is still a homophobe as we speak. Jackson wants his dad to continue visiting, but he doesn't want to live with him.

  • LoL @ Jackson checking the guy out at the hospital lunchroom. It's probably the first guy he's seen in a long time...

  • Comment removed

  • @cathy1725 / even the extras look beautiful / speaking of beautiful...ur page's vid is beautiful -- i feel the love /

  • @a308936 I caught that, good acting! hehe

  • @a308936 you read my mind :)

  • he's sweet and those dimples very kind

  • Under the circumstances, I think Jackson's parents had a moral duty to function as adults and leave off bickering.

Call me picky, but I really hate the expression 'rents for parents. It sounds so dismissive.

Who is Declan? Apparently he's the owner of the house that Jackson worked on, and therefore presumably I've seen him before, but I don't have any sense of who he is, except by his generous offer.

  • @alwaysuseless I started watching the whole soap a few weeks ago, I don't know all Declan's story but, yes, he is the owner of the house Jackson was working on and know he is the owner of the "home farm". He bought it using his ex-wife 'cause Nathan refused to sell it for him. And he helped Ryan prove that Nathan was the one who framed him.

  • @samanthapetrelli Thanks. His deception sounds questionable, but everything else you're saying makes him sound like a good guy.

  • @alwaysuseless Quick summery for those not watching Jon's full episodes.

Declan was Natasha Wylde's business partner at the Home Farm Estates. After Natasha's conviction for her husband Mark's murder and Declan's crafty swindle of Nathan Wylde... he now owns Home Farm and half the village's properties. He has moved out of the house next door to Cain's garage and into the mansion, therefore leaving the house Jackson worked on vacant.

  • @TVFILMBUFF Thank you! With that information it makes it easier to trust Declan's offer as one of just trying to help. So obviously he has had a previous friendship with Jackson is trying to be helpful!

  • @JESSJUSTJESS But if he swindled someone out of their property, how can you trust him? Perhaps he has some ulterior motive.

  • @alwaysuseless Oh my goodness, I should really have read @TVFILMBUFF's comment more closely before responding. For some reason (and obviously no good reason) I came away with the wrong impression. You are right, of course, with that background, one could only be suspicious of his motivation.

  • @JESSJUSTJESS When TVFILMBUFF says he swindled Nathan he means that Nathan believed he was selling to someone else because Declan used an intermediary since Nathan disliked Declan. Declan paid for the house and Nathan, who he tricked, was a baddie character who protected his murderer mother by framing his innocent half-brother of whom he was jealous. So Declan is a goodie, though a mile wide.

But surely they are entitled to housing benefit? How much over the cap are rents?

  • @wozziesgirl Thank you for the clarification. Yes I absolutely agree they deserve housing benefits. And if this offer is honest, then I think it is fantastic that someone has stepped forward to help them like that.

  • @JESSJUSTJESS Declan does have a decent side to his nature. I think this is a straightforward gesture of friendship. He also tried to help Ryan when scumbag Nathan framed R for their dads murder. He is a bit like Cain - he has an obvious dark side, but there are some decent traits - the same as everyone really

  • @wozziesgirl Couldn't agree more. If Nathan was cheated, he did it to himself, due to his own greed. If you remember right at the start Declan offered him £3 million which Nathan contemptuously refused. Declan then warned him that each subsequent offer would be lower and he made one of 2.5 million.

The fact is, Nathan should actually be in prison for perjury and perverting the course of justice

  • @TVFILMBUFF How do I find Jon's full episodes?

  • @BikingWithColdWater Go to his channel, there is a link there.

  • @BikingWithColdWater user/EDepisodes

Be warned. It contains excessive drug related Holly scenes!

  • @TVFILMBUFF Thanks. Why isn't Declan in jail? Has he actually committed no crimes? Is there some ulterior motive behind his generosity? (If the answer to that last question is a spoiler, I don't want to know.)

  • @alwaysuseless In my opinion, Declan is a really nice bloke, it it is not completely out of character for him to be so generous to Jackson and Hazel. Everyone in the village (except maybe Viv lol) loves Hazel and Jackson worked for Declan and they seemed to get on really well. So, no... I dont believe Declan has an ulterior motive.

Having said that, Emmerdale certainly has an ulterior motive. And that is to put Jackson's new living space right next door to Aaron's workplace. Cue the drama.

  • Awww, I'm so torn right now, I'm happy because Declan is a such a sweetheart lol, and I'm depressed because poor Jackson is sad, it's heartbreaking seeing him so upset! Oh, I can't wait for tomorrow!! :(

  • I'm glad I always stuck for Declan I think he

really is a good guy lets hope this works out

for Jackson and well everyone :) Peace

  • I feel so bad for Jackson ='(

  • hahahaha jackson is absolutely hilarious.

  • SAY YES YA SILLY MOO

  • @phrakta1 Yeah wasn't that great?? I 'm gonna use that one on my sista and me mates. ;-)

  • Oh Jackson you gorgeous sarcastic man you!!! I so love that banter and Hazel you are Such a great Mom. I know if i were in your shoes I think things might be different but what Pauline does for that Character is just astounding!. Pearl.. UM.. OK.. quadrapalegic cats? OMG too cute!! Decaln you are a kind heart you are. :) I really hope for a happy Christmas and happy future here.

  • @jodezak The last portion with the conversation between him and the nurse about broke my heart.

  • i've watched it , first one ! :)

awwwww poor jackson , although if i was in his postion i couldnt joke with it like he does, it just shows how strong he is!

i hope he asks aaron to come and see him! :) :) :) xxx

  • @Miaminx101 I'm not gonna tell what will happen 'cause I can't post spoilers here, but I'm saying that you really don't wanna miss tomorrow's episode... ;)

  • not working

  • First: The whole conversation between Hazel, Gerry, and Jackson was just painful. I do, however, appreciate that the writers handle such conversations and they do not shy away from the painful aspects of the process. Second: I think it is a credit to the people around her, how supportive the other characters are for Hazel.

  • LoL - I always wanted to do this, FIRST. I always hated when others did it. Ok, love Jackson directing his own "escape." - Remember when Aaron what helping him "carry wood" - TO ME. Didn't like Hazel's comment, "Fall out et al." Loved paraplegic cats. The 'rents NEED to argue away from Jackson.

  • @frozenbaby2004 I have to agree with this comment. And especially the part about the 'rents needing to keep their arguments away from that moment. So much more of that whole being moved to the wheel chair should have been about what was happening with him.

  • What's Declan's game?

  • Aww, I'm glad he offered her a place to go!

  • Comment removed

  • He so needs aaron!

  • Thanks for uploading that was quick!!

Love Jason Merrells character! Always liked that actor!!

  • Thanks!! That was quick!

  • I almost cried with J in the end, so sad... :(

  • I was thinking this is sad just when Jackson said this is weird and all the rest I watched with tears in my eyes. This really is heartbreakingly sad sl. I for one do wish a miracle that will cure Jackson. Can´t bear to see him like this.

  • i love jackson hes beautiful:Dxx
