I have the ASHDOWN ABM500 RC EVOIII and it OWNS the most bass amps i have tried in that pricerange. They are sounding absolutely amazing!

i had the MAG 300 Evo II head before and it owned as a first amp with a Mag 810 cabinet (still uses that cab with the ABM)!

I bought a combo with a 300w head, EVO2-something, and a 160w speaker. I wasn't completely clear on the latter when I bought it. I don't think I can gig with this. It's my own fault though, I was stupid to not research more.

The amp is great man, maybe it's the speakers? Try to get Hartke Cabs, especially the new ones with Neodynim speakers. Those are great

I own the Ashdown Fallen Angel 1x12 40 watt combo and it's pretty sweet! I replaced the stock Chinese tubes with JJ/Tesla's(which I put into everything)and it sounded better.I'm addicted to gain-and the Ashdown doesn't quite have enough so I put a DOD or Zoom distortion and it kicks ass!!Best 2 amps of mine is the Ashdown and the Madison Prophecy-I'll never part with either!!!!!

I found out about the Hayden brand only a few days ago and from what I've heard, they sound kick ass.  Outstanding bargain for their handwired products, too! (Now I'm between a Hayden, a Reinhardt 18, and a Dr. Z Maz)

thats true! bought a MAG 300 410 combo for bout 470 euro (demo amp but new and almost never used) and its amazing how much you get! the great sound and the features.

i use the Ashdown mag 300H EVO II Head and a Ampeg 1x15/ and ashdown 8x10 cabinett and it rocks! Ashdown is realy worth the money!

I´ve just bought a MAG210T-300 (2x10" combo) and love it, very nice sound and lots of power for rehersals and small and medium gigs.

Great interview. I've been using an Ashdown Mag for quite a few years now, i'll have to heavily consider a jump to the ABM series.
