I know how you feel with MTS I don't do it either it used to crash my computers the exchange in sims 2 so now I don't trust those sites for sims 3 only the official web and even then I'm cautious

I think this is really good! I will have a look at it if on exchange and maybe try and build one myself it's a great idea I never thought of! :)

Well, it's not too real. There are objects for the train station now, on MTS. And railroad. You coul try to use it.

@Krasnodarka I'm not a big fan of doing this. I've tried and it just clogs up my laptop so I just find lots on the Sims 3 exchange with modded cars and get them. I don't really want furniture that much.

@emma4509 they are all fences. the white 'fee fie fo' for the road markings and parking spaces and this other one for the tracks. im not sure which one. i made a tutorial on how to make a level crossing but i forgot to put the display back on.

Too bad you can't get a train on it. And... it wouldn't go very far either!

you can make a train or put cars on but you can't make the rest of the track so i was a bit stuffed.

You could make a train but it wouldn't move, and cars would look stupid on a railway track.

I have never seen a train station with blue or purple flooring ? :s Most train stations are old Victorian ones which have been updated and moderenised.

do you live in enland? and anyway, the floor is blue and farnborough train station has since been updated. This is not a precise replica as i have added the level crossing in and some other objects.

@simstorial Yes i do live in England, And ok at Farnborough the floor is blue. You could try building a train in one of the stations? If you do please update the video with it on :D it would look cool.

tbh, the booking office is different here and there is no basement but in farnborough station(show here) there is four tracks. the level crossing isnt in farnborough but it looks cool so i added it
