I got on that water coaster the last time I went and it was AWESOME. Very unique and alot of fun. Typhoon Lagoon was not all that great. I got tired of that big wave knocking me down...but it was still fun.

In the winter they normally shut down one water park to save money. For the last two years they shut down Typhoon Lagoon, so will they shut down Blizzard Beach this year? My family has never been to Typhoon Lagoon, and I think it would be a great new experience if they would go.

zino226- my sister is a lifeguard at blizzard beach and i asked the same thing. what do they do in the winter? well if youve ever been to florida its pretty much humid and hot the whole year. they dont shut down the water parks....they just close earlier houurs then in the summer

i love swimming with the sharks, i did it when i was 12 and again when i was 14 im 15 now and going again in august - september. cant wait to swim with the sharks but i gotta agree the water temperature is so cold its funny watchin my friends go in it lol! when i have the money i wanna go to South Africa and go in that cage thing and go underwater with all the hammerheads and great whites! lol

Because the Disney property isn't very big in California. That's why Walt purchased as much land as he did in Fl. He wanted to make WDW as magical as Disneyland but with much more. It's reverse for us fans on the east coast though. I have NEVER been to Disneyland and would love to go!

For the people who truly get and feel the magic, Disneyland being the original park DOES make it special. There are some ppl I've met who like going to Disneyland better because it's smaller and apparently you actually feel like Walt's spirit is roaming the park. Plus in Disneyland the characters roam freely and go on rides with the guests which they don't do in WDW. I LOVE watching clips of guests with characters from Disneyland!

Disney World doesn't have the Indiana Jones ride that they got in Disneyland.

And it doesn't have the Fantillusion parade that's currently at

Disneyland Paris.

Free parking, sport day refill cup recommended if you find one, or want to shell out 10.99. Crush 'n' Gusher is the best ride in the park. I recommend Coconut crusher slide as my favorite, next to pineapple plunger. The only downside is the horrible family raft ride where you carry up the tube (blizzard beach has a fully automated one with a moving sidewalk at the top)
