@Oskareczekeczek I am unsure, but it just adds sound depending on the environment, So I would guess, there could be a song just for night, or a song just for when you are in a cave, but that is my guess.

He still adds competent, highly talented employees to its development and gives Jeb feedback if need be. He's still just as important in Minecraft as before; his job has just changed a bit, that's all.

@alexskye006 You just can't say "It's 31 FPS", it really depends on the computer (I have a 2007-aged computer). The important part of the information is that from a No Mods to MAtmos configurations, only about 1 FPS was lost in an average scale of 30 FPS (You may lose more FPS if it was at a scale of 70FPS since a constant computing time has lower influence on a low framerate than on a high framerate).

However, a 1 FPS loss on a 30 FPS scale is still really low.

Before anyone asks, MAtmos requires ModLoader, and does NOT modify ANY Minecraft class file.

That means, the MAtmos should be compatible with most mods if not all mods.

@smasharthur I've run a benchmark: One with ModLoader installed only, and another with ModLoader and MAtmos installed.

ModLoader only: Average 31.83FPS, Dispersion 4.93

With MAtmos: Average 31.05FPS, Dispersion 5.17

Every 13 seconds, it checks if the player has moved 16 blocks away; if that's the case, it runs a scan which takes 3 seconds to analyze 131,072 blocks, by bunks of 2048 blocks every 0.05 second.

Every 1.5 second, a small scan of 2048 blocks is performed and variables are checked.
