@TheSouljazay If you are at a hover and the helicopter is spinning to the left you turn your trim knob to the right, and if it is spinning right you turn the trim knob left until the helicopter does not spin on its own.
@mustangluver101 I am not sure exactly but its pretty torquey. I would guess that it would pull more weight than it could fly with. But thats just a guess.
you are right about the first time flyer cause I was sucking big time till I added the penny. Much better control in my tight space and of course when I'm getting the hang of it it dies.
Thanks for the mod tips and thanks for making us newbs look bad. ;)
I was just wondering, what city and state do you live in? i bought a Fly crane on christmas eve in phoenix and it almost has too much power. I have to fly lowest throttle to maintain a hover. i had bought one in september in idaho and it could barely carry the basket. In phoeing it can easily carry a quarter in the basket. The elevation in idaho is higher than in phoenix. so i was wondering of the elevation makes airdensity different and the helicopter have a lighter load. thanks!
@dittsboylogan Elevation doesn't have too much effect on these things. Airhogs isn't really known for thier consistancy. I have had the same issues with other products they sell. I buy 2 and they fly differently. With this one I had the same problem as you with to much throttle. That is why I tapped a penny to it and fixed the problem pretty nicely.
Wow I bought a flycrane today and was havin real trouble with it and gettin impatient. But tried your mods and now its perfect! Its a wonder why AirHogs didnt move the weight and leave the spring out prior to selling in shops. Cheers for the help!!!
thank you soo much on the trim idea, i alrerady took the spring out before this vid so now my trim will be better. i may tape a penny to the bottom too.
well im going with the sharp shooter and when i get the hang of it i will buy the fly crane, and i might even think about using your mods! there pretty awesome! btw the air hogs are really cheap here anyways!
@toxicassasin The trim is to adjust the rotation of the heli. If the heli spins when its in a hover, you turn that knob in the opposite direction of the spin. When you have it adjusted correctly the heli should stay relatively straight when you are not moving the right stick.
can you make a video on learning how to fly it
