I think this band is the best. My wife and I have seen them 9 times in indiana.1 time at French LickResort where we actualy met them in the vestibule of the hotel. They were waiting for the shuttle to the venue. Later at about 3 or so in the morning some members we met comming in for the night. Its a very good memory for us!
asemchuck...you hit the nail on the head when you said CS was ridiculously underrated. I am 54 years old (no young punk) and have listened to them since Day 1 (Hint's Allegations...) and have yet to be disappointed with any album. I have also probably attended 10-12 CS concerts over the years and have never caught a bad one. Ed Roland is an excellent front man as well as song writer. I too do not understand why they are not considered more of a "factor" in todays music.
No!! Great song, great song....Ed's great on stage! What the hell do you know about stage moves? If you want fancy dancing go see The Backstreet Boys!
Faggy pop music? Dude you're nuts! Collective Soul is the GREATEST band ever! All their cd's were great! This is real music! Not all that BS that sounds the same, especially the singers! Ed's voice is so distinct, it's incredible! Rock on CS!
As much as I love CS, even I wouldn't call them the "greatest band ever." They are ridiculously underrated; but not the greatest. Youth was good; Afterwords was subpar. They produce very little crap. Above all - they're a good band that makes good music.
Everything Collective Soul has done has been good. This is the one band where I can say I like all their songs. Blender, Youth, and Afterwords do have a more pop sound. It's still great stuff though. That said, I'm hoping for a few songs that rock more on this CD. That balances things out.
I LOVE CS! I AM WITHOUT A DOUBT, THEIR BIGGEST FAN IN THE WORLD! I agree with the text below! They are going back to the old days sound. Like the 2001"Blender" album. This sounds like a mixture between "Why pt 2" and "Skin": Rock on Collective Soul! I will always LOVE you guys!
Blender came out in 2000. Their biggest fan in the world should know that!
After that album, they went the faggy pop music route, and right down the toilet. Hopefully this album brings them back up, because to me, no one was better than them in the 90s.
Cool guitar riff but kind of a chaotic song. I will reserve my skepticism till I hear the studio version. Hollywood was very dissapointing though. Hope they deliver the goods on the new album. Been a fan since the 90's.
I agree. They were far to poppy. This next one is gonna be good though i've listened to every track i could find on youtube and they all sound like their old stuff.

Wrong. Youth sucked. Afterwords also sucked. Too much of that faggy pop music and not enough of what they are known for. I have hopes for this new album though. Already ordered it from Amazon.
Ok you are entitled to your opinion, as am i , sorry for putting words in your mouth though....But I like all their albums, but then again i have to admit, the new one is better and heavier than the last two.
Yes, I did. I own all their original studio albums, even afterwords, which I knew stank. But I bought it anyways. I don't have to like every album they put out. But it sounds like this one is getting far away from the poppy junk of Youth and Afterwords.
This song is a breathtaking one with HQ sound. This is why CS is the best band ever. Ed looks as wild, sweet and professional as usual. Thanks for posting this video. :)
Thumbs up if you know this song because it played during the chase scene in Psych, Shaun Takes a Shot in the Dark!

As poppy as Dosage may have been, it was still good. Most of Blender was just ok, but this next one definitely sounds like a rocker.

I dont think Dosage was pop tho, But yeah hope this record is a rocker!

"Welcome All Again" is available on iTunes, so if you haven't heard the studio version, get the high-quality version there.
