@Pein474 its been a week since you posted. but yes. you take the book and they all attack you. use the iron dagger meant for sacrafice and kill harrow. your belongings will be on him when you search. hope this helps.

At 0:28 dropping all you armors and weapons, before you meet with Harrow. You can picking them back up, after Harrow has done talking. Let Harrow take all your gold and any rings that you has with you. Harrow cann't take your amors and weapons, if you dropping them, before you meet with him. Hope that help.

Jack the boo and head the way you came but after the first set of stairs turn right then enter that cave and run! Try using summons to block off enemies as you run through the corridors and frequently check your map for the secret exit.

All I did is dropped my stuff b4 I talked to him then picked it up afterward,why is everyone making it seem so hard to do,Just pick it up after he's done talking and casually walk to the shrine room where you see dagon talking,then you can kill from there much easier.

Nothing much happens, you join it, and you are taken to a shrine where you see Mankar, then he goes off to Paradise in a portal. Nothing happens then and as soon as you grab the Mysterium Xarxes, they all begin attacking you.

You can... kill him first when every one starts to attack you when you grab the book. It's hard though since yo don't have any health potions so it helps to have a good healing spell. He should have your stuff. But it's easier to just go through killing.

after beating this quest wait for seven days come backand there will be new items in the chests and enemy will be back there with better weapons too so you can get even better stuff the second time around if you have a higher level.

it is good if u hve umbra or golbrand for this quest as the game reads it as a quest item... so evn when the guy takes all your equipment away umbra remains since quest items cannot be removed..... it worked wen i did it:D

GOldbrand is technically the strongest wepon in the game you cant create you can make wepons MUCH stronger then the umbra or the goldbrand but the goldbrand = 30 damage at blade 100 plus the 20 fire damamge which makes it technically the "best" wepon in the game

You can drop your items before speaking to the guy and then pick them up but youll need to get your gold back anyway.

Some good places to get some are Azani Blackheart for the Fighters Guild or Two Sides of a Coin in Bruma. You get a nearly complete set of light armor in both cases...Elven for Azani Blackheart and chainmail for Two Sides of a Coin.

i "joined"picked up the book and pwnd their asses..... after that i started getting to level 20 and as a mage that aint hard.. atm i got 100 alteration 100 sneak and almost 100 illusion so it goes pretty fast.... and then when i got 23 i went to roxey inn or something killed 3 glass and 1 deadric guy picked up the swords and armor it took me aroung 3 runs to get trough all the good armor they had... and now i pwn face as a mage with a sword... pretty awesome :)
