Queen of the South vs Rangers Scottish Cup Final

Although I was angry and almost reduced to tears when Aberdeen were beat by QoS in the semi, I was delighted to see the performance put in by QoS in the final and was delighted for Steve Tosh a personal favourite of mine whilst at Aberdeen. Although Rangers won the cup this final sums up what the Scottish Cup is all about and the fairytale almost came true.

The roar and the screams from the QOS fans when that 2nd goal went in gives me goosebumps and shivers!

You can tell what it meant to them. When Boyd scores the winner, you just do not get that sense from the Gers support.

Extremely unlucky on the day QOS. I was backing you all the way.

It doesnt matter how tired they were. they chose that career and there are a lot of football players that would jump and a chance to be in four trophy competitions in a year. i just dont understand how rangers can celebrate like that when all their fans are there to see them win.

I think the celebrations of the players is more an indication of how tired and, in a way, fed up they were of the season that was ending. You guys were in your first Scottish Cup Final and gave it a good go.

I was right beside the fans segregation in the North stand and in all honesty your fans made the atmosphere in the stadium superb.

@ayeee94 - Some people like to support their local team which if your from Glasgow, its obviously Rangers or Celtic. Others are broguht up to support them and do so all their lives. Supporting a big team isnt glory hunting?

@Rswan13 yeah, i totally understand what your saying - its just that a lot of people from here in dumfries are rangers and celtic fans and it does get me really annoyed because we have a perfectly good local team, witha great ground and a great team. Although, i think if i was from glasgow i would rather support queens park or partick thistle but thats just my complete hatred of the old firm :L
