  • That's not a real language, is it?

  • I can´t believ the discussion around here...... Hitler , Stalin, and Mussolini were the biggest mass murderers of all time, except maybe Jesus(kind of)....

  • Fact: Hitler jokes go as far back as when the guy actually was alive and in power. Tell that to the next politically correct prick you see.

  • großartig.einzigartig.a true brave masterpiece

  • Charlie troll Hitler with class lol

  • He's talking about Wiener Schnitzel and Sauerkraut in the beginning xD

  • 4:23 Europe/Europa, Blitzkrieg French, then again, French and Finland. 0-0 4:45, europe and the world.

    Also. BISICAK BISAK!!!!!!!!! XD

  • @marigoldruff Same here! XD

  • Adolf Hitler in 1930 lectured an American journalist from Scribner's Magazine that 99% of the USA banks were owned and operated by the jews. The real figure though was around 92%. After the election of Hitler in 1933 the American magazine Saturday Evening Post published an article which accused the Germans of having "infantile minds" because they failed to accept the reality of their role of servants to worldwide jewish supremacism as the result of WWI. Hitler would be no slave to the jews.

  • even though i'm German, i thought he actually speaks really German! xDD then i realized... oh he doesn't. haha but i understood sauerkraut XD great. the movie is from 1940... still WW II, wow ^^

  • @Realicaa er sagt auch wienerschnitzel ^^

  • @Realicaa well, Im not german, but have read german, and he has a few german words here and there, like sauerkraut, kinder and of course the odd und, das, die and so on. the rest is just "german sounding noise" I think its quite genious!

  • The snort at 3:29 gets me everytime!

  • charlie all time great ... for all time ..

  • Heil Hynkel!

  • 5 people here are dictators.

  • Tha Jhooten *SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORT* THA JHOOTEN!

  • Ahhhhhh! German never sounded so good! Thank you Charlie for pointing out to the world what a pompous, prancing little prick Hitler was when we were hardly paying attention. If we had only sat up & taken better notice & not appeased this demon barely disguised in human flesh.... we might have averted the world-wide disaster to follow & the millions dead... from WWII.

  • @WordWar2Boy:

Actually Hitler was a big fan of Chaplin until he made this genius movie. He changed his opinion after he watched this movie

  • Comment removed

  • This was actually one of Adolf Hitler's favourite movies. He liked this movie very much and has watched it several times. Hitler loved to eat cakes and it's rumored that he was a big farter because of all the cake he at. He was also a big movie watcher, he almost watched a movie every day in his private cinema.

  • 0:27 "Baloney!"

  • @Sylderon

    He said "Waraune!"(Japanese "Warauna!"(Don't laugh!))

  • Hahahahahaha. Chaplin was a genius.

  • This is one of the two best Hitler parodies ever. - The other one is Mr. Hilter´s speach by John Cleese (Monty Python).

  • Laugh every single time I see this :)

  • Hitler was nuts by the end of the war, he danced between believing in himself and bitter despair. Of course one of Hitler's most practiced tricks was blaming others for his woes, so he tended to externalise it.

  • Genius!Very good:)

  • Actually, Hitler watched this movie twice. It might be a bit far fetched, but methinks that Chaplin helped the allies to win the war with this masterpiece, cuz of the way he bitchslapped that piece of filth from austria with his "Great Dictator". Charlie made Hitler realize how ridiculous he appeared to the world...

  • @tmafkap thats bullshit. Hitler believed in himself.at least till the last few days!

  • @RD19902010 Well, he appeared broken in the last years... also he performed the most megalomaniac version of "suicide by cops", you could call it "suicide by worldwar", and suicide is always a sign of a diseased psyche.

  • @tmafkap you know that the propaganda made him look ridiculous? :) just like they did with gaddafi ... so that the stupid and brainwashed people don't care what they are actually saying ...

and Hitler just made great speeches...

  • @Hirnhacke yeah, i might not agree with nationalsocialists and i am appalled by WW II (although there weren't as many jews in all of the world, as were later claimed to have been killed by the nazis!), but whatever you may think about Hitler - you have to give him, that he was a great speaker! his speeches were equally touching and motivating and if i were there, i'd probably cheered too. he was the greatest demagogue of all times!

    + i liked his beard.

  • @m0rbusPolytox I believe in the future, when they finally clarified WW II , Hitler will be the man of the 20th century... if the people would take their time to learn about him and listen to his real speeches and also learn about the other powers who forced him to fight BACK , then they would realize what really happend and that this is still happening all around the world... next stop iran... lets hope that the people come to their senses and try to see the whole picture...

  • @Hirnhacke Your anticipation of "future morality" degrading to the point of calling Hitler "The man of the 20th century" is frightening. Hitler was a psycho, a murderer who should have been sent to a mental institution when they had the chance and if anything, I'll do my part in keeping him that way in the Collective unconscious. Seriously? Killing, torturing, destroying children, women, men, innocent people, languages, cultures; all because he got a hard on for his retarded "Germania" fantasy?

  • @badblueman you don't know anything real about WW II ... only lies...

but most people aren't able to see the truth... hitler never wanted war, and he begged for peace ^^ but to understand that, you would have to do some real research... and there is the problem right? so I bet I am right ;) I don't know how long it will take, but the truth will come out. to sad most people, who could tell the truth are already gone.

and please don't call it retarded ;) you don't know anything about his fantasy

  • @Hirnhacke Yes, my grandparents lied about their lives. They had nothing better to do than lie about the Nazi atrocities, the Gestapo torments, the train rides to "Hitler inc." camps...I should believe dr. WWII history on Youtube, right? ;)

Because nobody is more educated about what went on than some, random internet person, right ;)? Fuck the people who died in WWII, let's listen to Hrnhacke he is right, right? ;)

Tell me the truth then. Nazis went around Europe to distribute food and medicine?

  • @badblueman ever heard about mind control? :) and maybe start to research what all the others did :) and maybe compare the stories of different countries... :D but yeah if you repeat a lie again and again, it becomes truth , I know :) so believe your "truth" ^^

there are only few people with the courage to speak out the truth

but believe your mainstream bullshit :)

bet you also believe the propaganda about libya , syria, iran .... :D

  • @Hirnhacke So you believe nobody? If your family says "This happened to me 60 years ago" you say: "Iluminati lies"?! You're telling me that instead of living through WWII my grandparents were sent to an "Opus Dei reptilian" brainwash camp...in reality nobody died etc.

I'm not a fan of "I'm offended" crowd. But just to let you know, what you're saying is complete madness. Mind control? Holy shit. You are off the deep end brother. Just don't kill anybody if the voices tell you.

    Are you trolling?

  • @badblueman I never said nobody died ;) I am just saying they made BIG BIG BIG propaganda before war , and they continued after the war ;) they sold their propaganda as truth :) well so never informed you about it, thought so :D doesn't hurt you if you don't know about it right? ^^ well go on sheeple :)

  • @Hirnhacke The only "anti-german" propaganda my grandparents needed was the torture, torment and death suffered under the Nazis and the collaborators. You can shove your historical relativism up your ass. You just don't get it do you? You can contrive history any way you like, the atrocities stay the same. Hitler ordered the Germans to do, and the monkeys did. What followed was a massacre and inhumanity on never-before seen scale. That's why you're full of shit with your "great-man-Hitler" BS.

  • @badblueman ohh poor boy :( can't handle the truth? hitler was the one who made peace-offering... but believe what they told you in school and the great experts :D who inconsistent with one another... but that's not important, that your story makes sense xD because people like you will believe it anyway :)

maybe start actually watch some conspiracy theories ... they make MUCH more sense than the shit you know as truth ;)

  • @Hirnhacke What are these conspiracy videos called? "How the Jews rule the world vol.1", "Did Hitler really kill the Jews, or did they kill themselves as a conspiracy? :O","How Jewish spies brainwash the world and slander Hitler","Hitler was actually a hippie, for world peace and not-a-racist , but... the Jews made him do it !!1!"

Thanks, but I think I'll pass. I'm afraid I might lose my hair and catch myself spontaneously Sieg Heiling to the Fuhrer. I'll just stay under the Jewish influence.

  • @badblueman hehe there you go ;) you show your stupidity with pride :D

  • @Hirnhacke I'll take that as a "Yes. I am a holocaust denier and believe anti-Semitic conspiracies". If that's "not-stupid"; darn it, I'll just have to stay in the stupid crowd. It's going to be hard, with all the intellectual advances in the conspiracy theory crowd. I guess we''ll be left behind while you guys fly into the bright Jew-free future. If your "conspiracy-researchers" extrapolate a cure for cancer from Mein Kampf, I hope you'll gives some to us poor "tinfoil hat lacking sheeple" .

  • @badblueman well yeah there is a cure for cancer my little sheeple :)

  • @Hirnhacke yeah eat organic fruit and veg. But that aint gna happen in the USA atm gagagagagagagagag

  • @c02pistolman what?

  • @badblueman but yeah the right thing to do is : criminal prosecution... because you're not allowed to think different or to even ask questions...

freedom of speech? to hell with that!

  • @Hirnhacke he he he .. well, strange points u have, I must say. But the thing that u r mostly wrong on your claims is not the biggest tragedy here. The tragedy is that u r completely missing the point here , and the point clearly lays in the Cause here. How did Hitler came about, Who putted him there, Who financed him, And Whose Interests was he really defending? If u care to find this out in some Truly researched manner, go to my Chanel, and such movie will start as u arrive.

  • @tepstolog or maybe start to watch what all the other nations did...

ever thought about what happend to Rudolf Heß? or what he did and had to say? WW II is still a mystery... we still don't know exactly what happend... but people believe they would... it is really crazy :)

  • @tepstolog and I would like to watch it , but my government doesn't want me to :(

  • @Hirnhacke Hmm , U must be from Germany then I suppose. But don't worry I think I can help u with that. Try this address then , on my Vimeo channel : (vimeo . c o m / 11172724) . Just make sure that u write this together , without any spaces in between and it should work....

  • Comment removed

  • @tepstolog one question, do you speak german?

  • @Hirnhacke Ein bishen.... , not to well really. I speak Italian, En, some Spanish, then Serbian, and Slovenian naturally ... that's all... why do u ask?

  • @tepstolog I am just wondering how do you manage to get the right information about him if you don't understand his language properly.. and do you know ernst zündel?

  • @Hirnhacke First..., Hitler was created by the British, Not Germans as such... To get the bigger picture of this , u have to go back to the end of ww1 and the Versailles Treaty , for start.. and so on till u get to the Hitler installment, financed with British money threw Wall Street, and so on... Listen, if u are a German, You Should go to The: schillerinstitute(.)org You can get all the details on This and much much more, there...

And no , yews r not the ones, British Are !!! ;-)

  • @tepstolog do you know ernst zündel???

  • @Hirnhacke I checked him out somewhat, but I did not know him prior to that...

and the way I got it, is that, he is one of those ppl, who thinks that Israel , or Jews r the source of greatest evil that we face today , and that the Jews run everything.... Now, I didn't get to listen to him for hours on end, but this is what he seemed to say in general... I did, however noticed that he was right on the idea of the American System of Economy which he supports....

  • @tepstolog you should study his case! you can learn very much about the germans and what really happend in WW II ... the truth will come :) and I really don't know everything and I can be wrong, but at this point, I think Hitler fought the same enemies as we are fighting today... and the picture we get from media and official history is just wrong... and you aren't even allowed to discuss this topic ^^ that's when you should start to question the whole situation...

  • @Hirnhacke Yes , Hitler did fight the same enemies we fight today at the end..., but he Was Created by them in the First Place... Hitler was no Angel , but compered to the people who put him there, he looks like a boy scout .... If u go to the LarouchePAC site, u can get all the details on how Hitler was installed and by who ..., or if u go to Schillerinstitute site from Germany u can get these info as well....

  • @tepstolog I know where to get my information thanks :)

do you believe that 6 million jews died? and how would you describe hitler? what do you know about him?

  • @Hirnhacke Well I agree with you on one thing, hitler could be defined as the man of the 20th century. In the same way one would describe the Machine Gun as the invention of the 20th century, terrible, but was one of the defining factors. Hitler wanted peace yes, but only because it suited his tactic of a quick peaceful takeover of an area of a land, so the infacstructer would still be of use. He only invaded poland because he didn't believe the british or french would not attack.

  • Comment removed

  • @cornholio435 sure he did it because he didn't believe the british or french would not attack ... lol omg :D hitler was a extremly smart person , and he had to invade poland because they committed genocide on german people in poland... and NO other country cared about that ^^ but the same is happening today, but you don't see that either, or do you? ^^ did you ever check the information , they gave you?

    /watch?v=7S3cM2wBnb4

  • This not only hilarious but a great method of propaganda in getting back at evil tyrants in propaganda warfare of making fun of them how do you like that? :)

  • The first movie to actually say jew...where are the Chaplins of our time??

  • The best ever impersonation of hitler...genius.

  • Chaplin= Genius

    I could go on endlessly!

  • Chaplin made this early in the war. He later said that if he had known all the monstrosities Hitler would go on to commit, he would never have made the film, or at least not in the way he did.

    Still brilliant though.

  • he drinks water and puts it in his pants???? hahahahahaha love it!!!!!

  • What I love about this film, it that it's basically Chaplin making fun of Hitler. It's like he's saying "Are you serious? We're really going to let this clown take over Europe?"

That and I think he was getting back at Hitler for stealing his mustache. ;)

  • love this inspirational words

  • the once who did not like this vid was Göring, Himmler and Goebbels

  • I saw this in theaters and I was sold after that!

  • Charlie Chaplin= Brilliant! He wasn't afraid, thats why he's my all time favorite!

  • 3 people don't have a sense of humor

  • It sounds like real German!

  • @corgismclean nah it doesn't. this is just a mixture of some german words, english and whatever he made up. that's the great thing about it.

  • @KittichanU2 I know that, but it does sound like something close to German Language.

  • 3:40-3:55..... unbelievable. What genius.

  • That makes abou as much sense as HOPE & CHANGE! In reality this guy, and that guy are the ones who get all the CHANGE, while the common man is left with meaningless HOPE, and very little CHANGE in his pocket.

The Greatest Army & Navy in the world will not save your life. In reality everyone must die, and that's the absolute truth. Why not accept it for what it is, and learn how to cope with reality. Take responsibility for all you think & everything you do, and you may just find True Freedom!

  • 0:10 sauerkraut hahahaha1!!!

  • was he speaking actual german? or was this just made up stuff??

  • @mzsxysmrts

It's just gibberish with a few german phrases like wiener schnitzel (pork chop, vienna style) thrown in.

  • @mzsxysmrts this is not german, but its sounds like it ^^

  • Wow

German is an even more complicated language than I thought

  • Hahahahahahaha, hail Hynkel!

  • Didn't I just see this on television the other day? Oh, sorry, that was Qaddafi.

  • Charlie Chaplin had a brilliant way of showing what a pompous hate-filled gasbag Hitler really was. I hope in the lowest depths of hell hitler is forced to watch his atrocities strapped into a chair with his eyes pinned open, clock-work orange style, every second of every day

  • @arad7613 EPIC MATE !!! you made my day :P

  • There's something fishy about the translation. I think Herring wrote it.

  • I wonder if there is a comedian nowadays that can play the role of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad like Chaplin did Hitler.

...Herring and Garbage, holy shit... BWAHAHAHAHA

  • thats not german

  • @theSVAshow Of course it isn't.

  • @theSVAshow that's the idea..

  • SAUERKRAUT!!!

  • he roastet hitler lol

  • though brilliant I think John Cleese imitates Hitler's manner of speaking even better while still being hilarious.

  • I understand Hitler himself enjoyed this movie.

  • This movie broke Hitler, he watched it twice... Well done, Charlie!

  • the cool part is, Chaplin did this in 1939, before the U.S. knew how bad Hitler really was. Chaplin burned Hitler before anyone else could! lol

  • 1:06 is...epic :D...his hand gesture :))

  • HIE HILLER!

  • super ciemna!!!!

  • "His Excellency just referred to the jewish people"

    That was so hillarious.

Charlie Chaplin himself was a jew born in Great Britan.

  • @KaraAnimee

Nazi propaganda in the 1930s and 40s prominently portrayed him as Jewish, but there is no documentary evidence of Jewish ancestry for Chaplin. He always refused to challenge or refute claims that he was Jewish saying that to do so in public would, in either way, give publicity to the Nazis. All that is known is that Chaplin was baptised in the Church of England and was thought to be an agnostic for most of his life.

  • I heard Hitler actually liked this film and saw it twice. Is this true?

  • @glitchbreaker

For all I know (read in books about history), the film was made available to Hitler.

I´m pretty sure that if this is true, then he watched the film - what a pitty nobody

filmed him boiling in anger while watching this brilliant parody, I bet this must have been even more ridiculous!

  • @glitchbreaker

He watched it twice, no records anywhere of what he thought. . .

  • This is even better than Mel Brooks. XD

  • Listen again, and you will hear

"Wiener Schnitzel [...] und der Sauerkraut"

    at 0:10 -- 0:12

    LOL

  • Lol I love the begining it is too funny, hahahah

  • faux german is funny, considering the fact that I can understand half of the words and they have nothing to do with anything. And half the words are gibberish!

  • I love the bit just after this when he falls down the fucking stairs. The movie is so funny. And the speech at the end is so relevant and amazingly moving

  • I love the bit just after this when he falls down the fucking stairs. The movie is so funny. And the speech at the end is so relevant and amazingly moving

  • Funny detail. The cut of his hat is american style, not typical german.

  • At 0:55, Chaplin parodies Hitler's ejaculations he got during his oratory, by douching himself.

    Chaplin was a genious.

  • "Poopschen Herring" LOL :D

  • we must'n tighten the belt'n

    wahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wiener Schnitzel und Sauerkraut! xD

    so geil!

  • I am from Germany, and I can say: Chaplin knew how to imitate the German language. But also funny that he uses words like "wiener schnitzel" and "sauerkraut". These words DO exist!

    SCHTONK rules!

  • i love it when the general tightens his belt and it breaks loose when he sits since he's too fat

  • TheJokersAdvocate96 has replied to your comment on Chaplin - The Dictator Speech:

its a comedy. try not to politicize it with your Obama-bashing. just enjoy the video.

Mr. TheJokersAdvocate96- I sent that video to a lot of my friends, we all got a good laugh. Take some advice from President Theodore Roosevelt, "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president... is morally treasonable to the American public."

  • genius he knew right from the beginning whats going to happen wow thats fascinating but funny as too

  • Hillarious :D I thought this was a drama of sorts. High time I see this movie!

  • long live the phooey!!! chaplin is great.

  • Like All Politicans The Great Dictator also speaks Gibberish !

  • hahaha so true

  • its a comedy. try not to politicize it with your Obama-bashing. just enjoy the video
