Berlin really was a beautiful city. It's too bad that all of it was destroyed only a few years after this film was made.
The influence that one person can have is phenomenal. Buildings that had stood for hundreds of years were destroyed in minutes.

If he had heard his chief´s intelligence staff, General Reinhard Gehlen, he wouldon´t comitt many mistakes that had led him into his tragical destiny. Instead of treating the russians like animals, he should have given them the ways to defeat Stalin and his red empire, in a way to transform that land into an ally.

My point was that people can't try to claim that the Allies were innocent victims. Remember, nobody confronted Germany with force, until they started invading other countries. A very interesting video which gives a fine impression of the german capital and the spirit of the time just before the WW2 and the Allies terror bombardment. Even though the human and material costs of the destruction of the city was enormous, it also prepared a way for the progress and the ejection of one of the most modern cities of the world. The Allies could not destroy the Berlin but they succeded in destroying the race consciousness of the German people.
