According to Wikipedia, (I haven't seen it for myself) at some point in the anime, Doumeki lost his eye as the result of a bad interaction with a spider-spirit's web. Watanuki then made a wish to Yuko to give it back to him, at the cost of his own eye.

It sounds fanfiction-y, but I'm not making it up ^^;

This is without a doubt my favorite song from the soundtrack, I remember the moments it played well and it was so perfectly fitting.

My favorite part is at 0:44, the piano somehow brings the memory part in for me.
