  • that was a changing point in my life. beforehand my whole school, myself included, believed gays to be unicorns. but they changed the sex ed program and we found out their needs are wants. and that they were "there". and interenstingly that they werent even unicorns. who knew!

  • I don't get why people are giving him such a hard time about it. He's not saying gay people are unicorns. He's just saying that homosexuality can't be ignored and it should be included in our health classes. A few schools are trying a course which includes the topic and a lot of schools are still opposed to it and he's saying that its important for kids to learn about gays instead of steroptypical crap you hear on TV and stuff kids will learn actual facts.

  • a) it just sounds stupid and b) its really condescending. think about it he's saying all of us, the voters, needed a class to tell us that gay people werent unicorns. that gay people actually existed. we need a CLASS to tell us that. what's next?
