@shalomxyzt People like Hannibal are pretty much one-of-a-kind.Hannibal could pretty easily be diagnosed with psychopathy,and psychopathy is seperated into type one and type two-psychopathy and sociopathy,per se.Psychopaths are suave and manipulative,who operate within the realm of legality and a parasitic,like lawyers(but not actually helping people they leech off of in any way),and sociopaths are the more murderous,usually homeless people.

the thing about anthony hopkins as hannibal is that when i'm watching the movies i don't see anthony hopkins. he's like completely hannibal lecter. i can't help but see anthony hopkins the actor in a lot of his other movies but in these it's just hannibal lecter. i see dr. lecter. not an actor playing him. that's what's so great about the screen character

Perhaps the song represents how Hannibal chose rude people as victims. Hence how those rude people "never cared for what they do/know" as the song states. "Nothing else matters" could still a bit iffy if it were referring to Hannibal hismelf, though it fits fine if it refers to the rude peoples' self-interest.

As for the memory of Hopkins statement, I'd guess that the video's creator meant "In Memory of Hopkins' previous work as an actor" though he could have made that more clear. Oh well.

In a way yes, but technically speaking..no. He would never harm Clarice, that is true, but in the Book Hannibal, he is not tamed. It states at the end of the book that both him and Clarice are capable of murder in cold blood at any time. He not only accepts her as a spouse, but more as a predecessor believe it or not.
