Bob was one of my favorite people on tv as a child, I loved the sounds of the brush on the palette and the way he described giving a lonely tree a "happy little friend".....I was 8 when he passed away, but he is an icon and in part a representation of my childhood...rip

Their was a man named Bob ross who was a gay rights activist and the publisher of the Bay Area Reporter that died

His attitude was a wonderfull one, and although alot of people don't know him, you could tell he cared about every living being in the world. Tell me is it a crime that people miss someone they never met? If you think it is, I recomend just watching some of his episode's and maybe you can understand why people miss him.

That was beautiful, Bob Ross has always been my fav Artist, I would get up Sat mornings just making sure I'd get to see him paint. I even recorded many of his episodes unfortuantely I no longer have them, but when I was stressed/ feelin down, I'd watch him and listen to his voice, it was so soft and soothing as were his words, he just totally relaxed me! He was the reason I first picked up a brush and tried to paint!
