One of the best versions of this lovely Irish song. Beautiful harmonies. Like so many of your postings, it brought back happy and tearful memories of years in Edinburgh in the great daysof the Scottish folk revival of the 60s and 70s. Many thanks Linda, When they canonise you, I'll be there!!!

One of my top favourite Corrie songs. Clearly a lot of thought went into the arrangement and harmonies. Paddie did another version with the Fureys in 1968 that (for me) actually tops this one and then recorded it again on a later cassette.
