I was 18yo when I played this piece.
I was playing the Organ of Holy Heart of Mary's, a Church just above the Forum Studios in Rome while M° De Masi conducted the orchestra "sincro" in the main hall in the lower floor with me on audio/video monitor.
@gianluigizampieri porca paletta, se davvero sei tu che suoni l'organo in questa colonna sonora sappi che sei uno dei miei MITI! Adoro questo film e il suo predecessore sin da quando avevo 12 anni (1984!). E' uno dei primi pezzi che ho imparato a suonare con il basso! E' un ONORE "conoscerti"!
@YaliRob Carissimo, l'autore di questo pezzo è stato mio Maestro per anni, da lui ho appreso la tecnica della strumentazione, della direzione d'orchestra e da lui sono stato avviato all'attività professionale. A Francesco De Masi devo moltissimo. Ho davvero gradito molto il tuo messaggio, l'ammirazione però va tutta verso De Masi che, senza presenzialismi da vip, ha lasciato un patrimonio di Musica da Film enorme e tutto di alto spessore.
@furyplum44 Sorry, this is one of my favorite movies. Apart from the title, there is no such resemblance with "Escape from New York" (another one of my favorite movies), the plot is completely different. And to go even further, in the italian (original) version, no character is names "Plissken". Have you really SEEN this movie? Maybe you're getting confised with "Bronx Warriors", wich had a resemblance in the plot (no "Plissken", anyway).
