  • one.of the greatest entertainers of all time sad he lost it all

  • I wasn't born until two years later lol

  • Please help a family for Christmas its a hard time for me and my kids 5133659997

  • @UDBURDEN79 Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati Bell Wireless Number. You really should not be posting your personal celluar phone number on here. I am in the data broker business. A data broker is like somewhat of a private investigator. Now Erica D Lamar of Altamont Street of Cleveland Heights 07/11/78 you been on Youtube for 2 years with no uploads. Here is some advice, sell your PC, drop your internet service and cell #, save your money and move out of OH. Jobs are greater outside of OH.

  • @willdav713 LOL

  • I like it ^^ I can´t touch this ;( But i will CAN touch this ;D

  • The female dancers went on to do very well. Beyonce have been choreographed by Junella Segura as well as every other rap and r&b act. Russell Wright and Mr. Swoop have huge careers all over the world in dance. Michele Jennings is doing well in the animated voice world, and be sure to check SuparStar Shyra out who have the first single & video from the new John Singleton movie. Her song is called DJ Love. So Hammers dancers have done well for themselves.

  • he is a killin the dancin

  • This songs is such a big work out! lol

  • Good speech

  • I remember this like yesterday!

  • 3:26 great surprise!

  • G.O.A.T!!!!Hands down!!

  • in fifth grade you either had an MC Hammer poster or a Vanilla Ice poster but you didn't have both.

  • Miss the purple pants

  • This N*gga came out with a Cape On!!...GET'EM HAMMER!!!

  • You can't touch this money Hammer.

  • Lol, are those Ques stepping in the back? People can say what they want about Hammer nowadays but you've gotta admit that he was a heck of a performer!

  • That dude was an entertainer... He had a nice run.... Can't take that away....

  • I love how everyone was wearing evening gowns and bowties.

  • i remember watching this....he got with David Copperfield for this performance.

  • I DO NOT miss the 80's

  • @ejdf870 this was the 90's

  • @terenceth Yeah, I know. But, late 80's-early 90's for me seem almost like the same culture.

  • @ejdf870 i miss the 80 ´s

  • LMAO...didn't know his group dressed up like Earth Wind and Fire!!

  • the cape was probably influenced by james brown

  • 16 people can't touch dis

  • I saw him live last year and he can still kill it on stage. Much love to a true legend who paved the way for today's hip hop stars!!

  • THAT´S PURE ENERGY !!!!

  • @Profetaerrante1 enery plus natural talent!!

  • Don't like the cape, everything else is fine for that time.

  • VANILLA ACTIN LIKE A STRAWBERRY FRUITCAKE HERE HATIN ASS LOL

  • @lk90jn65 lol yeah, dude got put in his place quick!!!

  • Epic fail

  • I would love to find the MTV awards show when Hammer did Turn This Mutha Out and Let's Get it Started

  • I'm White :} N i love this shit :D!!!! love!!!

  • lmao look at vanilla ice hatin ass! black power

  • I can see how MC Hammer did half of his trick, at 2:42 his body double comes onto the stage (notice his body double's back of the head faces the camera/audience while he gets onto the lift) while Hammer runs to the back of the auditorium, but how does Hammer's body double disappear at 3:23? where does his body double go? is he hiding some where on the lift?

  • It really doesn't matter really, Hammer (and other old school rappers in my opinions) belive in himself rather than what other thinks it's cool to be (gang star rap or whatever). He is not only talented but worked really hard for it.

  • He rocks(event thought hes a raper)

  • Say whatever you want, but he was an amazing performer. It's a shame that he got used and abused by the industry back then.

  • Now that's real PERFORMANCE AND TALENT. no studio enhancement here. YOU CANT TOUCH THAT!!!

  • 16 people can't touch this. Seriously, I was in the audience that night, and this performance was THE SHIT. Thousands of tight-ass white people in tuxedos and formal gowns, shaking their asses off! Thanks for sharing!!

  • Haha nigga went broke like a typical money spending monkey.

  • AT 2:31 Hammer broke himself from dancing too hard.

  • like this clip!

  • WOOWW!!! 15 IDIOTS WHO DON'T KNOW SHIT!! ALL 15 NICKI MINAJ FUCKIN FANS UGGHH!! THEY DON'T RECOGNIZE A LEGEND WHEN YOU SEE UMM!!! HAMMER WAS THE SHIT!! 15 HATERZZ WHO DON'T KNOW #DAMNSHAME!!!

  • Vanilla Ice is like

    "fuck this shit"

  • THIS IS AWSOME!:D

  • 1ST GAY RAPPER ON YOUTUBE

  • back when singers, ACTUALLY sang at concerts, not mimed...

  • How did Mc hammer get to the back of the room so fast??

  • @moral..... You must be 100 years old man!!! Where are you?? The 1950s??? You should be ashamed of yourself!!! But.. No.... Never mind.... You would need to have a brain to think with, before you can feel anything. Go back to your trailer, in the middle of the pig farm (family reunion in your case) and just try and take care of that ONE tooth you have left, so you can at least open your beer with it. I'm curious....... How the hell did you get access to a computer?? Or enough thumbs to type wit

  • at 4:33 THATS MY BOI BOBBY BROWN THO..Bobby and Hammer should of had a dance off then winner face Mj..I think hammer would of gave mj a run for his money

  • mc should thanks rick james !!! thats right biatch

  • Hammer and his crew!! Talk about musicality and soul. The dancers are funky and hit the dance moves at the same exact time. So many people are slightly offbeat these days. Breakers CANNOT dance like this--it is all tricks and flips. But the youth don't understand that breakers before did add more dance before. Dancing is devoid of soul.

  • i love that it's in mono.

  • @drnick1988 Thats because I didn't own a Hi Fi VCR at the time, this was recorded on a 1983 Magnavox VCR with the manual channel programming you know the green number lettering on the black background (to receive more than 12 channels you had to hook it up to a converter box vcr which lasted until 1998 the year I took it apart for parts, whats wierd about that VCR when you record in LP mode and have the volume almost all the way up on the cable box it records in stereo.

  • @willdav713 What's weird is your over-explanation with the excessive details of outdated technology.

  • @BlackOasis21 I was just explaining why it turned out to be in mono, when my VCR at the time had stereo capabilities. The show was broadcasted in Stereo. I like to give detailed descriptions and explainations, because obivously there is an audience for it. Also my channel is Variety/Retro based programming so their is history to be explained.

  • @willdav713 Case in point.

  • @BlackOasis21 lmao

  • @drnick1988 lol, here here

  • White Guys can perfect Break Dancing BUT NOT The HAMMER DANCE. MC is still the best @ his creation.

  • Just goes to show how music has changed in the past 20 years.. No way any artist of today could jump around like maniacs AND stay in tune with the song and sound great!

    Miss music like this!!!

  • Greatest Grammy performance..EVER

  • audience was so boring & dead! i remember watching this and it was crunk in my house!!! lol

  • omg--Hammer wearing Gaultier and (pre-HGTV) Vanilla Ice out in the audience, thanking the men and women of DESERT STORM. You can't get more 1991 than that.

  • 14 ppl cant touch nunthin. lol

  • @oceauna. Soo True. I'd like to see them do better than MC Hammer.

  • MC HAMMER HAVE\HAD THE BEST PERFORMANCE I EVER SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE BELIEVE ME THE BEST BETTER THEN EVERYBODY OUT THEN NOW EVER 1991 THE BEST MY DUDE I GIVE THAT TO YOU HAMMER YOU NEVER LET THE MONEY TAKE OVER MY DUDE AWESOME JOB

  • GREAT PERFORMANCE FOR REAL TWIST OF JAZZ 1991 GREAT JOB MY DUDE ON FIRE BOY OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOY BETTER THEN DANCIN WHITH STARS AND JACKSON 1991 BOY

  • I love that an Oaktown boy is running down the isles while all these Hollywood types are watching. Yeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh BOY! I can do THIS!

  • Yeah that shit was off the hook and off the chain. Off the everything. It was out of this world. Out of your mind. Wish hammer could bust a move like this one more time. Free one for you Little Hammer. Much love. Peace.

  • HAMMER GOT IT JUMPIN BOY 1991

  • GREAT SONG - WORST LIP SYNC I HAVE EVER SEEN Ô¿Ô

  • MC Hammer & Will Smith were my Favorites from that Era. Miss those Good Old Days.

  • Dancing definitely changed from then till now! It's funny to watch them! I miss those days that's for sure! :)

  • Somebody shrunk his hammer pants. Now they're hammer tights.

  • Those live horns in the back are killing it.

  • hip hop and rap back in the days u could dance and relate to it, but now its all about sex, money, drugs, and violence. no moral lessons to learn from it.

  • And this is why he was broke.

  • @psychosal16 no he mad allot of money he was just trying to take care of too many people don't be a hater compare to the average rapper the was a very entertaining performance

  • i had this video and lost it, thanks for post it !!!!!

  • No doubt MC Hammer is indeed an awesome performer that man can put on a show!!

  • Missing the Hammer pants =(

  • NOW THATS WHAT I CALL A PERFORMER

  • DOPEST SHOW EVER SEEN!

  • he's a beast it looks like his knee touches his chin

  • This is how wack hip hop looks today..shiney and gay..

  • Im a bring this back, this is what a live show should look like, whether rap, rock, pop whatever who pays to go see someone just walk across the stage bobbin their head!

  • This is definitely one epic performance.

  • vanilla ice lookin like a fool

  • One of the Coldest dancers of all time. It makes me sad how he fell off. And the thing is... One of his main reasons 4 going broke, was he took good care of the whole hood. My God Bless him and his family. U still a bad Boy!

  • Vanilla Ice's expression made my life hahaha.

  • Ohh how I miss the 90's

  • Holy jesus i couldnt stop freakin laughin funniest shyt ive ever seen and seeing vanilla ice was the cherry on top i think i died a little inside Rofl

  • Victus is just a plain idiot, 80's rock is some of the best music ever created. And 70's R&B and funk is awesome, dont go around insulting nearly 2 decades of great music

  • he almost kill rock and roll....thanks god .....nirvana came along........

  • I hate it when i hang out with MC hammer and he doesn't let me touch anything

  • Excellent coverage!!! Thank you! :0)

  • @singboyy

Are you fucking kidding me, there's a reason that people say that we went. From 1979 to 1990 and the 90's lasted 20 years, the 80's are the shame of our generation, I think the world would be better if the timeline went for nineteenseventy-twenty to nineteen ninety

  • pussy was better back then

  • I wish music would go back in time because the music from the late 80's and the 90's was the best. nice videos that made u dance.

  • not so rare anymore 272,123 people have seen this

  • How old was hammer right here>?

  • 1:41? WTF?

  • Me being a dedicated fan. I feel like BET and MTV should pay homage to him. If they give P. Diddy and fuckin award for lifetime achievment, then why HAMMER can't get one. Give credit where credit is due.

  • ........what does it mean when this video is actually one of my first memories as a child????...........hahahahaha, look at Vanilla Ice, what a bitch. He knew he could never out preform MC Hammer hahahahahaha.

  • awsomee

  • And were still at war with them.............. Notice how the ones who thank god usually becomes irrelevant or on drugs years later?

  • amazing dancer !!

  • definitely legit

  • Well seems like Vanilla Ice just CANT'T TOUCH THIS!

  • Love the space age outfits!

  • i cant stand vanilla ice and WTF?!? he deserved a standing ovation

  • WOW great performance. he's a really great entertainer :D

  • he was the man hands down.

  • Say what you want about hammer. He was wicked!!!

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Loved this.. well done Hammer.

  • his wardrobe sux, were are his hammer pants?

  • @gax8627 He had to have them dry cleaned from all those grease stains from eating at Taco Bell due to the mass crowd in his commercial and all those people pushing and shoving trying to get autographs would be my guess.

  • @gax8627 Don't be hatin. You couldn't make that look half respectable with your gut hanging out and your ass sticking out too.

  • @Jeffrizzel gut? im weigth 150 poubds and i aint hattin he rhymes, ha definitely can dance but all im saying is that he looks way cooler with his hammer pants

  • incredible

  • If you're an MC Hammer fan, check out his new film 1040!

  • 4:01 is a dog?

  • I saw it had to keep lookin. It did look like a dog in the beginning

  • danm that nigga can dance

  • That's some awesome shit there, especially when he snuck back and came down the aisle. I would've high-fived that dude had I been sitting next to the aisle there as he walked past!

  • Yes MC Hammer was a pioneer! Some artists out during the same time started changing and adding dancing and vocalists to the music. Before Hammer it was not common to have a vocalists puting down singing hooks on songs. MC Hammer changed the industry and did things unheard of for a rapper. Now you got rap artists in commercials Hammer was the first!!! Yes a pioneer. Don't hate the truth unless the truth hurts.
