  • The bit wars were over for most, but for me, the battle still rages on...

  • I have a wii, Xbox 360,and a ps3. My dad usually plays the ps3 though. Your right, fanboys of Microsoft and Sony don't play the other companies console. I did like the Gamecube, and the Nintendo 64, and the NES. Games lost their sense of creativity and now popular games are about shooting.

  • Mad props for giving love to "Order of the Griffon." That was my favorite 16 bit RPG. Genesis was my favorite console, but I preferred OOTG to Warriors of the Eternal Sun or anything on SNES.

  • i think they should come out with a new cartridge based console, with awesome looking 2d games, and sprites

  • Square + Enix = SquarePenis. LMAO!!! That was a good one!

  • I don't blame you on going back to the 16-bit era. Even the 8-bit NES was an awesome console, too!

The truth be told, video games nowadays doesn't have the spark like it was back in the old days...just like everything else. That is primarily due to the fact that its all about fanboyism (favoring one game system and bashing everything else).

  • No Neo Geo love?

  • xbox had shenmue 2 and jet grind radio future those were big things for me.

  • yeah, there was also orta.the sega exclusive tiltles on the xbox were great.

  • totally, agreed. Orta was an excellent game. I am slowly learning of the awesome titles that were on the original Xbox. Especially with a MODDED xbox...lol. Check out my tour of my xbox vids to see more of what I'm talking about.

  • i agree that the xbox was well worth it, though importantly, both of those titles you named were sega dreamcast games

  • Nice review man easy to listen to

    you talk

Like you said I think its important that a console maker makes there own games it's like showing the 3rd party company's how to take advantage of there software, Sonic an mario for example they actually showed what the system was capable of

The nerd just reviewed the Atari Jag the game developers had no idea what the system was capable of, they had no games to showcase it's ability

  • 3DO.... LOL

  • dude great review but i got to post ,i have PS3 and Wii but my microsoft title are Crysis ,spore on PC (halo was great too).im not a fanboy but love great games .street fighter 4 ,fall out 3 (hate the ending) looking forward for another zelda...keeep it up!

  • excellent comment, thanks man!!

  • Atari 2600 was 8-bit.

  • What kind of system was the atari 2600?

  • Hey get the 360 has a lot of good games HD games that's the reason I like it.

  • Great perspective! I agree that the console war of today is lacking compared to that of the 16-bit era. Might that be because we're looking at it through the eyes of nostalgia?

  • LOL, falling into the anti-PS3 hype! Blu-ray player and great gaming machine (including a hard drive)? *makes out with the PS3*

Turbo Graphics 16? 8 bit CPU with a 16 bit graphics processor. Not a true 16 bit machine... it was awesome tho. Great point about breadth and exclusively of offering. Good stuff :)

  • if you could spell turbograFx, I would believe you!

    OH SNAP!!!

    anyway- thanks for the comments!!

    ;)

  • OH, man, you showed me! Typing things correctly is always my achill... ak.. ackl... my heel that makes me die and stuff.

  • lmao! So you actually would support the PS Trizzle over the 360 and/or Wii?

personally I'm meh about all three, but the Wii has Mario Kart Wii and WiiFit, the two best games since secret of mana! ;)

  • Yeah, but the PS3 has Mark Walhberg in high definition without having to buy and add-on, LOL.

I'll give it up for the Wii's exclusivity and 2D awesomeness with the Virtual Console, but M$ couldn't PAY me to to say something nice about the 360.

  • great video I gotta get a turbo grafx bring back memories of watching my cousin play such a good console i always tell people about it

  • completely biased against ps3. i like that. plus you give props to tg-16 which was a freakin' cool system and was and still is near and dear to me.

  • LOL emo

  • LOL 0 subscribers

  • Damn dude, that was just mean.

  • LOL, yea it was. and I just got pwned! the dude's got 3 subscribers now!!!

    wahoo!

  • reflecting on the past destroys your future. but yes there is no reason for buying anything microsoft if you have a reasonable computer. ALL good games will come to pc. currently waiting for mass effect.

  • I know this has nothing to do with your video but I thought that you would enjoy it, and I also know that most of the charactors in the vid are not 16 bit but fuck it !!! it's kewl anyway

  • imma stick to my Shigeru Miyamoto made system

  • Shigeru Miyamoto makes games, not systems.

  • bullshit noob

  • Jesus christ, the ending scared the shit out of me, I had the volume all the way up. May I ask what is the song at the end of this one as well?

  • Its from Ys Book I & II on the TG16. Its a Metal remix of sorts done by some fans of the series.

    Thanks for the question!

  • I honestly find it funny that TG16 games are being offered on the Wii VC, considering back then, Nintendo USA's third party exclusivity contract is the culprit TG16/Duo for TG16/Duo's failure. Hell one of my old issues of Gamepro said that Spriggan, Snatcher and Download 2 were supposed to come to the US..

  • Here are my top 10 games for the PC-Engine/TG16. Dracula X The Rondo Of Blood Spriggan Lords Of Thunder Soldier Blade Bonk's Revenge Bomberman '94 Devil's Crush Snatcher Exile II (JP) Fatal Fury Special
  • Up is down so go away. Nice.

  • Like this one best. I miss my tg 16 (tear)

  • rant on brother man. how bout a wrestling rant next!
